2 CORTH: 5:14 For the love of Christ constraints us, because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died.

Here we have the ground work laid to begin the process of the resurrection. The resurrection unto life of the individual , and the resurrection unto life of the Church. As we put to death the old man the new man will come forth in the image of Him for whom we are called.
