Some ways that homosexuality has already influenced our society are:

The Catholic church solicited the assistance of known homosexuals, commissioning them to create artworks. Michelangelo, (one known homosexual), plastered the interior of the Sistine chapel with homoerotic art. It was known that he had an affinity for the male body and young men. He met his boyfriend Tommaso, when he was 57, who later died. He mourned Tommaso’s death and wrote poetry depicting their relationship.
Education
Mock marriages were performed at a high school in Pennsylvania where students chose a mate and pretended to marry them through mock ceremonies, there were also mock divorces. Lesbian couples were among those united in these play marriages.
Government
A new bill is soon expected to be signed by Obama, which gives ‘Federal’ assistance to local and state authorities for hate crimes, making violence against gays a Federal crime. In this bill, Military pay, benefits, and weapons have also been authorized. This is potentially a pandora's box for eventually silencing any opposition to the perverseness of homosexuality.

I don't deny that. And I'm a Christian, of course, so yes, lust has been legislated against for me.
However, not everyone is a Christian. As followers of Christ, we have to decide how we interact with these people. Do we get mired down in political debate with them? Do we oppress them (which would be increasingly difficult with overall declining church numbers, not to mention quite unChristlike...)
In short, do we behave as legislators and judges of this earthly kingdom, or as ambassadors of Christ's Kingdom?

You forgot one: I John 8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from alll unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him hout to be a liar and his word has no plase in our lives.
When we receive Christ we do not miraculously stop sinning. We will be sinners until the day we die, but our sins are covered as we continue in faith. Why? because Christ paid for them. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid! But we are what we are, still sinners. We are credited with righteousness for faith. His word says "Christ died for us while we were yet sinners." meaning on-going. We are all works in progress, being transformed into His image as we continue from faith to faith. As long as we have these two natures, the sinful nature and the new man in Christ, they will continue waring against each other. The idea is that as we continue in faith, the new man in Christ, little by little displaces the old nature. Thanks be to God that at the resurrection that old nature will will finally be gone.

Same sex couples should have all of the legal rights that anyone else does. They should also have freedom just like everyone else does. The real underlying issue is that, those who are same sex couples want this activity to be acceptible. We as followers of Christ are to love our neighbor as ourselves, but when it comes to voting on same sex marriage, we cannot vote to approve of it, because we would be guilty of promoting it and basically saying to them and the world that this is acceptible when it is not. Even if the gay community convinced the entire world to make this way of life acceptible, they still would not get by God! He created the heavens and the earth and all that are in them and He makes the rules. If you remember back in August of 2009 an unfortunate thing happened, that being that the Evangelistic Lutheran church in America voted on whether gays should be able to hold positions as clergy within the church and the vote went through. Now gays, just like any other sinner should have the right to go and hear the word of God, but when you have the sexually immoral coming in and wanting to sit in those positions of teaching and preaching without any desire or intention of acknowledging their sin nor repenting, then they do not have the right to hold those positions. Now that they have been voted in, what's next, the teaching that same sex relations is approved by God? God requires that when we come to Him through His Son, that we are in agreement with Him that we are sinners, to confess our sins and repent. Now, that does not mean that we stop being sinners, because that nature will be in us til the day we die or are caught up. The difference is that we who are in Christ agree with God that we are sinners and need His salvation.Our spirit wars against the flesh and the flesh against the spirit, whereas this group wants to bring their sin of sexual immoralty with them and justify it instead of repenting of it. Paul makes it very clear over and over again saying: "I warn you as I did before that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." Therefore, for all those who are same sex couples, understand this, you are free to do what you want, but we as Christians cannot vote yes on this because God hates sexual immorality of any kind and we are in agreement with God. Also, he says that He is not mocked for it is written: Whatever a man sows to that is what he will reap. If he sows to the Spirit he will reap eternal life, but if he sows to the flesh, destruction in the lake of fire. Now, those that voted "yes" in the Lutheran church have become that woman Jezabel in the book of revelation of whom Jesus says, "She misleads my servants into sexual immorality." We are in the very last days people! Lift up your heads for your salvation draws near!

Obama appointed Kevin Jennings as ‘Safe Schools Czar’ , he is affiliated with NAMBLA, North American Man Boy Love Association. One of the components of this group’s agenda is to ‘abolish’ the age of consent. Kevin Jennings was very active in homosexual activism since the 90’s, and initiated a movement called The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network.
While it is clear that God forgives those who are repentant of sins and saves those who call upon the Lord, those who have contempt for His Word and His people are not simply seeking equal rights, but much more!
This is not about what occurs between individuals behind closed doors. It is about changing and influencing the Educational and Religious systems as we know them. Christianity is not being forced on any one of these individuals, and their rights as ‘Men and Women’ are already equal to ours. But, their ideals are certainly being forced upon us and upon our children.

I believe in what God created a man & a woman, He dint make adam another man or eve another woman instead he made adam eve from him.
I am against their movement i will NOT support it , Id rather not get involved but if they ask us to vote for yes or no that they can be married in every state or at least in texas. I am 18 now & will vote for NO!

When people say "I can't help being gay or that is the way I was born", they are talking about the passions and desires they have for that same sex sexual desire. What they and many Christians overlook is the fact that, there are outside forces, namely the powers of darkness, pricipalities and spiritual wickedness that can influence ones desires. Not only that, but they may be the recipients of Romans 1:18-32 and God himself is the one that is causing them to be this way. God gives them over to the sinful desires of their flesh to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies. The reasons for this are as follows:
1. Godlessness and wickedness of men who men who supress the truth by their wickedness.
2. Not recognizing God by His invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - being understood from what has been made.
3.Not glorifying God nor giving Him thanks.
4. Exchangng the glory of God for images made to look like mortal man and birds, animals and reptiles.
5. Worshiping and serving created things (Evolution) rather than the creator, who is forever praised. Amen!
6. Because of these God gives them over to unnatural relations so that men and women abondon their their natural relations for unatural ones.
If anyone has a problem with knowing what a natural relationship is, here it is:
Romans 1:263-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with WOMEN and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent hacts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
So, in the verse above we can see that a natural relation is between a man and woman and indecent acts are men with men and women with women. In fact, sexual immorality is everything that is not of marriage between a man and a woman. Here is sexual immorality:
* Men being sexually intimate with another man
* Women being sexually intimate with another women
* A man or woman lying with an animal
* a single man and woman being intimate.
* A married man being intimate with another man's wife and vise versa.
The sexually immoral are always claiming that there is nothing in the word of God regarding same-sex relations, well, He does and it is called "Sexual Immorality" and He made it very clear when He said:
Leviticus 18:22 - Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
He also made if very clear of how he feels about it when He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities for praticing all of the above.

The truth is, that while it is enjoyable to articulate our opinions about these and other hot button issues, and to show our familiarity with scriptures, most people will do nothing, other than that. The ‘gay rights movement’ agenda will move forward, and no one will ever knock on your door asking for your opinion or your vote.
Few will write their congressman or respond to invitations to assist groups which counter ‘gay rights movement’ activities. Others don’t know who their congressman is, or how to make a difference! We’ve convinced ourselves that having a voice in the political arena is somehow failing to ‘love the sinner’. But, what about loving the children who are being indoctrinated into homosexuality in America’s classrooms.
