So, we should forgive a person up to 490 times. That could make things worse, since the person committing up to that many sins may just be evil, and subject to Hebrews 10:26-27. I'd hate to think of the carnage such a person may cause if we wait until the 491st time to think, 'Hmmm, maybe that person is evil after all!'

look at your life from birth till now. You have commited far more than 490 sins. Yet God has forgiven you (if your saved) of all of them, be it they in the thousands or more.

Yet you think we need to stop forgiving a person if they sin to much? Does God tell you you have to be less forgiving than he is? And why do you think you deserve to be forgiven of your many innumerable sins, Yet you think a person who sinned against you 490- times should not longer be forgiven?

>Hebrews 10:26-27 should not be forgiven of his sins if he keeps on sinning after he has come to knowledge of the truth?

The Book of Hebrews, The main theme throughout the book of Hebrews is BETTER.

Christ is better: Better then angels, because they worship the Christ. Better then Moses, because He created Him. Better then the Aaronic priesthood, because Christ's sin sacrifice is once for all time. Better then the law, because Christ mediates a better covenant.

Hebrews 10:
"""Better Sacrifice""" is the context in the following:
Verse's: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12.

"""New Better Covenant""" is the context in:
Verse's: 9, 10, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21.

In 18 of the first 21 verses context is:

"""BETTER SACRIFICE or NEW BETTER COVENANT"""

Verses 7, 13 & 15 are unrelated to salvation as well as: Verses 22, 23, 25 & 25

Hebrews 10:26 Willfull Rejection, Parsed:

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

These Jews were having a hard time making a break from total indoctrination in a legalistic religion = Life revolved around Judaism's Temple worship, daily sacrifices & Mosaic laws.

Many were reversing course and choose to continue in their religion to avoid persecution, often being totally ostracized.

The Willfull Sin Mentioned Here: Is after hearing & understanding the truth found, in Christ's Sin Atoning Death Burial & Resurrection. These legalistic indoctrinated Jew were walking away from the BETTER covenant to avoid persecution.

The only true sacrifice for SIN is: Placing your Faith in Christ's Redemptive Sin Atoning Sacrifice. Found in Christ's Death Burial & Resurrection. If WE/ANYONE rejects this sacrifice I. E. UNBELIEF!

There is NOTHING ELSE that can save a person from: The Coming Judgment God will impose for mankinds sin and rebellion against thier Creator.

Hebrews 10:29 "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy (common) thing and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"

God’s wrath will be poured out on those who have walked under foot """REJECTED""" Gods offered grace found in Christs Sin Atoning Sacrifice of Christ
