A family man, old enough to be my father with a family of (6) children to feed and care for, one evening had a knock on his door during supper. When he got up to answer the door he saw his neighbor who was drunk and wanted a place to stay for the night because His wife didn't want him in the house in that condition. He agreed and let him stay on the sofa on the back porch. The next morning he was given breakfast and nothing was said about what happened and the neighbor went home to his wife.

This man did not forgot what was done for him and the next day went to thank the family. He was received into their home and was ministered the love of God and right there this man believed upon the Lord Jesus Christ and was gloriously saved. He was invited and started to attend the same church with his wife who later was saved by God's grace as well. He was called and studied to be a pastor and is serving God in that capacity today with his wife and family and has never touched another drop of alcohol.

Grace and mercy to others always applies and always bears fruit unto eternal life through Jesus Christ. We have a ministry of mercy and reconciliation toward sinners in the same manner that God had toward us when we were sinners. There is not a sinner living today that does not have a great need for God's grace and mercy to be forgiven and cleansed of all sin through Christ and His shed blood. This is how God has applied His mercy and grace to us through the cross.
Thankyou for sharing this.
Praise God, for His great love and power in all of us!

God bless.

if you ever had to ask someone for a handout you know how hard it can be. anytime anyone ask you for something, if its within your power to do so, do it. you will never know if that poor dirty homeless person is going to take your money and drink it away or get something to eat. for all you know it could be an angel looking to see who is generous and who isnt. i can remember 3 times in my life telling someone no, two of those times i look back and wonder, who was it that was asking me for help. God and the angels are at work in the world, keeping us on our toes. be mindfull, but be generous.
if you dont want to give them money, take em to mcdonalds and get em some food.

in God we trust
Been there, and know how difficult it is.
The judgement can be the most difficult.
I praise Jesus that He brought us through this , as it opened the heart in Him.

God bless.

if you feel like giving or helping, help your neighbour that is having a hard time in feeding the family. help the ones in christ first ,then the rest. praise God.
very hard times are at the door. especially in your country. so be prepared.

''wakeup''.
I also agree on the difficult times.
They are already here.
We all need to trust and pray for provision in Jesus.
Not just for needs , but His presance in our hearts and all we do.

in Jesus, God bless.
