Found this interesting theory here.

The Center for Scientific Creation: Home of the Hydroplate Theory

Found it most interesting. I do not agree with everything he said (God did not make a flawed earth, why could he not of miraculously caused the floodgates to open) but it seems to answer alot of questions, and I love the fact he backs his points up with questions (what would we expect to happen) then shows us the answer.

would love to discuss this and any other theories which may be out there (catastrophic plate tectonics and the vapor theories are the only other two I know of,)

Regarding the segment in the video regarding the frozen Woolly Mammoth found. In order for this specimen to be preserved as it has, must mean that whatever mountainous cave it crawled into, was cold enough throughout the time of it's death till now. If this statement is true, and if the flood waters covered over this mountain 4000-5000 years ago, then that would place Noah's ark above freezing temperatures at which nothing could survive.

Something to think about.

I have, and I do not know for sure how to explain that. other than as he said, if the earth rotated, and that land became artic. there is a change it stayed frozen, much like the frozen oceans in the arctic today.

but I think he answers that question in his book. the big thing is there is no other answer. the temperature drop which would have to occur for their freesing in a moment of time is so drastic. how else can anyone answer it, the other theories I do not think can.
