In a short time, He shall give me all things.

Let me, here and now, in the stillness of this silent night, ponder upon this.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not thinking about things like a big bank account or a fast car. I'm thinking of the truly precious things that matter most of all.

Now that I am old, I have come to understand that the list of things that are of infinite value and worth is not all that long.

I will let you take it from here. Feel free to post verses and thoughts as they flow into your mind.

My friend I admit in a way I am envious of you, even at the young age I am I am weary and long for things I cannot have on this side of the veil. I long to be with him to have him and hold him to shower him with my deepest affection to see him and just tackle hug him, it isn't that I long for death but my soul aches for him.

You may even have a good amount of years left in you but if you do pass on I will not mourn for you rather I will rejoice for you. There is a wise saying do not pity the dead pity the living

I am still unsuccessfully trying to comprehend time through God's eyes who sees things as eternal while I am stuck with seeing time as sequential.

As I encountered the kingdom of God, I "felt" that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived. It was awesome.
While having a NDE at the local hospital, I stood on a city street, looking into our Savior's eyes. I long for the time that I am back there.
It may be a short time, but it won't be soon enough! I am on the road to my home in the New Jerusalem...I just have to be patient.

"...Tribulation worketh patience..." (Rom_5:1-5 cp 2_Co_11:23-30), and, that "...we
must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God." (Acts_14:22) Amen?

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:5-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
