"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" (1Cor 15:52)

I have some river rocks that I bought to put out by my little fish pond. I get bored this time of year so I have been stacking them up to balance them. Even I put a little glue on them to hold them together for a while. If it gets to many rocks they do not last long. I am doing good just to get my camera and take a photo before they fall over. This has to do with gravity and friction. They say you learn something and today I think my lesson is how fast a moment in time is. Sometimes if I am slow to get my camera a moment in time is not enough to get a photo before the rocks fall over.

We are told that Jesus is going to come in a moment of time, without warning. We need to be ready. I know I need to be ready with my camera or I am not going to get the photo before the rocks fall over.

Aren't you so glad that God will never fall on us like those rocks might. He is a stronghold we can rely on through any storm.

Psalm 71
71:1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
71:2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
71:3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou [art] my rock and my fortress.
