The rejection of any biblical (or non-biblical) belief isn't on the basis of any individual, but rather, the Holy Spirit. As it is the Holy Spirit that leads us to truth. If we do not believe the truth, the holy spirit did not lead us to it then. (atleast from what I understand on teh subject thus far)
I feel I should clarify this, so that you don't misunderstand what I am speaking of Crossfire.
Our coming to believe what is true, is because the HS leads us to it, we are drawn to it.
Our rejecting that belief, is when we follow ourselves.
If that makes sense.
EDIT:
Adding this because I have a feeling this will be used as well.
What I am not saying, Crossfire, is that I believe you to be spiritually inferior to I, nor any one who believes the Doctrines of Grace to be biblical. Rather that it is the Holy Spirit that leads to truth. So if I, you, or anyone else holds something to be true in spiritual concerns that is not true, it is not because the HS lead us to lies. I imagine this is probably how you regard those that are Calvinists. Atleast, that is what I recall from previous interactions with you.
If Calvinism is right, then arminians were not lead to falsity by the HS. Equally the opposite, if Arminianism is right, then calvinists were not lead to falsity by the HS. To put it neutrally.
