Is satan one of the placed cherubim that hide the Tree of Life?

Genesis 3:24 says, “He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.”

"flaming sword" (God's Righteous Word) is guarding the goal of the test, Life

The cherubim hide Life (from carnal minds), so God's Righteous Word is the way to find it.

  • The Jews were given Law of the flesh to find Life via Righteousness
  • The Christians were given Law of the heart to find Life via Righteousness

sin in the Garden
They spiritually died, became a dead free will spirit.
God was starting the test of this reality by not letting them eat from the Tree of Life (Christ)..everlasting life.

Human spirit = your perception of reality using either fallen Free Will or righteous Free Will

The test is the meaning of life ..opening the door ..accessing God/Everlasting Life

The lie of the tempter, that we wouldn't die, is why we are here. he represented death which equates separation from God. The tempter's lie is what leads to the illusions that disguise the spiritual. That's why Jesus said He was The Truth and The Way.

Truth is ignoring the illusions (lies) and allowing God in our lives (Love).

I think this reality allows those that want to ignore God to find any excuse they want.

What a wonderful paraphrasing of our amazing Bible! Thank you, PJoe!

No.

The cherubim do not "hide" the tree of life; they guard the way to it so that Adam and Eve could not eat of it in their fallen state. This prevention was an act of God's love.

Umm, yeah, you are just saying it a different way. A fallen state can not see the Tree of Life.

I'm saying it the way Scripture says it. Nothing in Scripture says or implies that "a fallen state cannot see the tree of life". Changing the words is an attempt to make room for strange pseudo-metaphysical interpretations. It's better to leave Scripture alone and let your thinking be conformed to it.

Why didn't I catch this before? Jesus is The Way to the Tree of Life.

The Tree of Life shows up again in the last book of Scripture...

(Rev 22:2) through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Is satan one of the placed cherubim that hide the Tree of Life?
No, he is too busy deceiving the whole world.

Genesis 3:24 says, “He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.”
These would be the angels who didn't rebel.

"flaming sword" (God's Righteous Word) is guarding the goal of the test, Life
By the time Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden, the "test" was over.

The cherubim hide Life (from carnal minds), so God's Righteous Word is the way to find it.
Do you have a verse or passage that teaches this?

The Jews were given Law of the flesh to find Life via Righteousness
The Law was given to 'lead us to Christ'. Gal 3.

The Christians were given Law of the heart to find Life via Righteousness
Do you have a verse or passage that teaches this?

sin in the Garden
They spiritually died, became a dead free will spirit.
God was starting the test of this reality by not letting them eat from the Tree of Life (Christ)..everlasting life.
What verses make this point?

Human spirit = your perception of reality using either fallen Free Will or righteous Free Will
Could you please unpack this? I don't know what you mean.

The entire issue of the Garden was a teaching moment for all angels. God created a lower form of creation and gave him the freedom to believe or reject God's plan of salvation. 1 Pet 1:12

Truth is ignoring the illusions (lies) and allowing God in our lives (Love).
Sounds rather mystical. The Bible is not mystical. Truth is Jesus Christ as the ONLY WAY to God and salvation. Truth is also God's Word.

I think this reality allows those that want to ignore God to find any excuse they want.
It doesn't take "reality" to allow people to ignore God. In fact, it takes unreality to ignore God. Romans 1-
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

How do you "guard" the Tree of Life? You hide it with illusions.

The Tree of Life isn't available to any of us. It was in the Garden, and will become available to us in the New Jerusalem.

No, Joe, Jesus is THE way to the Father. John 14:6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Your focus on the Tree of Life misses the focus in the Bible.
