But people ignore God's hatred of sinners. His wrath. and many attributes that are the opposite of love.
There was a time that I too was an object of God’s wrath, but when I placed my trust in Jesus Christ, God’s wrath was lifted and now I have peace with God.

More accurately, God poured out his wrath meant for you on Jesus instead. So he could justly save you instead. And in time giving you a new heart that would believe in him and seek to live a holy life instead.

You stumble at what you know not. God is full of mercy and longsuffering toward the lost. Calvinists see only harsh judgment and overlook the mercy of God. You forget that you were at one time afar off and an enemy of God.

God wants us to show mercy to our enemies and His. We are to pray for them to be saved.

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Look how beat to death Jesus was on the cross. And what he suffered. I cannot hold my head high thinking it took that to redeem me, one of the elect.

Jesus did this because He was the elect, not you.

= he hates the rest.
No that would be that you hate. You lift yourself above the rest.

The rest need God's grace as much as you.

Yes, put on Jesus Christ, God's elect.

We all deserve the worst. But God poured out his wrath on Christ in place of the elect.

We do not elect ourselves.
Correct, once you're in God's elect, Jesus Christ, we are called to service. Election is always connected with service, never with salvation.

It determines who God atones for and who he doesn't atone for in Christ.

If you believe, you are one of the lucky ones. Most cannot believe.

God's wrath is upon sin. The Father loves His only begotten Son.

And yet you elect yourself above your fellow man.

But Jesus took our punishment in our place if you are a believer in any true sense.

There are elect angels, angels who are called to service. These elect angels were not chosen to be saved.;)
But we were all lost. Based on that God arbitrarily elected some to display his mercy. And left the rest to display his wrath.

That's not Scripture. The word elect, in Scripture, is always a reference to one God has called to serve. There are elect angels, Israel the elect nation in the OT, elect witnesses in the tribulation, God's elect Son, etc...it is never a reference to someone being elected for salvation.
