...In The Land?

For decades now, we have been told that the End Times must be very near “since
Israel is back in the land.” While it may be true that the End Times are near, we
wouldn’t agree that they must be near simply because many Jews returned to the
promised land in the years following the creation of the state of Israel in 1948.

We are of course familiar with the many Bible prophecies that predict that Israel
will one day return to the land that God gave their father Abraham, but we do
not believe that these prophecies have yet been fulfilled. We are living in the
Dispensation of The Mystery,* a period of time in which no Bible prophecies
have been fulfilled * for nearly 2,000 years now. With that in mind, we invite
you to join us as we review the prophecies that speak of Israel’s return to the
land...

...the fulfillment of these prophecies is yet to come...

...“Then the Lord thy God will...Return And Gather thee from all the
nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee” (Deut.30:3)...

...“And He shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the
outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the
four corners of the earth” (Isa. 11:12)...

...“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be
blown, and they shall come...and shall worship the Lord in the holy
mount at Jerusalem” (Isa. 27:13)...

...Not even God can gather people who are already gathered...

I beleive you may be right. I am not certain that all of the lost tribes from Israel have returned yet but they certainly will as in the lord's phophecy;

Jer 30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Jer 30:2 Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
Jer 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
Jer 30:4 And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

I will try to find info on what tribes made it back to Israel I would post info back on this thread. If anyone else has documented information please post.

Peace be with you!

In the physical/geographical sense Israel has been partly gathered back, but they will not be gathered back from out of the world spiritually until the end of the Tribulation when they flee to the wilderness and experience a spiritual reawakening and homecoming to Jesus.

Revelation 12:6
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”

So, who does God call those bones he brought back into Israel in Ezekiel 37?

Ezekiel 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, 14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

So, God did not say when he brought them out of the lands he would just bring a PART, He said I will brin g the WHOLE HOUSE of Israel. Reading the bible is our friend, we just need to pay attention.

I beleive you may be right. I am not certain that all of the lost tribes from Israel have returned yet but they certainly will as in the lord's phophecy;
There were never any lost tribes, this came from the Cultist who rant the Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong. God says in Ezekiel I have saved myself 7000 men, which like 144,000 is simply a CODE for all Israel, we know via Zech. 13:8-9 that 1/3 of End Time Jews will repent, thus the number is 3.5-5 million Jews. God uses numbers to tell us things, 10 = Completeness, 12 = Fulness, 7 = Divine Completeness 6 = Mankind etc. This when we get these numbers timed that is like God shouting a message unto us as in 12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 144,000 or All Israel who repents 7 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 7000 or All Israel who repents.

So, when Assyria toted off the wicked Northern Kingdoms, they had men living in Jerusalem from each tribe that were never toted off. Some Judean men who loved wickedness were toted off because they went to where their wicked ways could be practiced. The TWO STICKES become ONE STICK at the end of Ezekiel 37 is God telling us how He took the Divided Kingdoms and made them one. He never wanted a divided kingdom. So, why are they all called Jews? Well, where do they live now and have they lived since the Norther Kingdoms were toted off ? (besides the 2000 some odd year diaspora) Well, that is obvious, they all live in Judea, thus they are known as Jews, of course. If Italians moved to New York in the 1920s, they are known as New Yorkers. If Cubans moved to Florida in the 1950s they are Floridians etc. etc. The Jews are not all Judeans, it is a simple moniker telling where they reside. That happened in the over 500 years of them all living in Judea up until 70 AD. Then came the Diaspora, thus when they were brought back they were brought back as "Jews" but they were not all Judeans, they just became know as Judeans or Jews because of where they live. No tribes were ever lost, period. Some wicked people were toted off, but God destroyed many people when Moses came down from the Mount with the 10 Commandments. Losing people from every tribe doesn't mean the tribes did not exist anymore. These things have to be thought through, the we have to what God actually says, not some Herbert W. Armstrong Cultist. Amen

This link is to Les Feldick>>>>>He picked up Armstrong's work and adds his interpretation. He mentions Armstrong in one lesson but I don't know which. Possible that mention is more than once but I haven't listened to all lessons. He starts lessons saying we will look at what the Bible says and then seems to often say this is how I see it. Contradicts himself regularly. Got any comment on this? Be interesting to hear.

I think its great you bring this up saint. Sadly you have not touched base on how Israel came to be again.
Which is prophectic. Jerusalem instead of Tel Aviv. What was the land called before it once again became Israel.
6 day war..prophectic. .....kind of missed a lot in your introduction.

I don't understand your extrapolation.

The chapter does not talk about Jews, it references the house of David and inhabitants of Jerusalem. And in verses 8-9 it references inhabitants of all the land.

"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God." - Zech 13:8-9 KJV

This OP seems to be presenting a confused view of the matter.

Since the land of Israel figures prominently in end-time prophecies, the establishment of the SECULAR nation-state of Zionist Israel in 1948 was very critical. It meant that the land of Israel (though severely limited in size) would be in existence at the Second Coming of Christ. But prior to that the unbelieving Jews would erect the third temple in Jerusalem, and the Antichrist would hijack that temple for his own nefarious purposes. But this has no bearing on the future supernatural return of Jewry worldwide to Israel AFTER the Second Coming of Christ.

Now read Ezekiel 37, God made two sticks one stick. The two kingdoms became one, they all lived in Judea. Thus the House of David and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem = All Judea and Jerusalem, which means the Whole House of Israel because God brought the Whole House of Israel out of the lands when He brought them, not half or 1/4 but ALL Israel.

Let me explain it verse by verse since this is one of my fav. chapters in the bible. The IN THAT DAY means the Day when Israel repents/Atones as Zech. 12:10 refers unto.

Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. {{So, the day Israel repents Jesus' blood will cleanse them from their sins}}

2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: 5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

{{{ These verses above are talking about Rabbis who led their fellow brothers astray, after Israel repents, the common man will not allow these men to lie about Jesus as they have lied for eons. And most of these same men will admit they were wrong, they will say I am no Prophet, I am just an ordinary husband. }}}

6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. 7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

{{{ Here we have PROSE in verses 6 and 7 intermingled with the Prophetic End Time story. It is meant to show who PAID THE PRICE for their sins, even though at the time this was written Jesus had not died yet, so we get a prophesy about the very end times, then we see two of the verses speaking about the man (Jesus) that paid those prices. This is a very great Prophetic Utterance, not only do we get the End Time Prophecy before it happened, but we get a LINK to how their sins get washed 500 years after this was written, but 2000 years before the end times. Then we jump BACK to the end times in verses 8 and 9. }}}

8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

{{{ Then in the VERY NEXT VERSE we see the Day of the Lord has arrived. }}}

Zech. 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

In verse 3 Jesus comes back, so it JUMPS 3.5 years.

All Israel Atones JUST BEFORE the DOTL. It doesn't matter what we call them, God called them the WHOLE HOUSE of Israel in Ezekiel 37, this those living in Judea/Jerusalem now are Israel in full, bit intermingled to the point no one knows what tribe they are even from in most cases, and it really doesn't matter anyway.

Neat breakdown, thanks for the response. Greatly appreciate the scriptural references.

Now read Ezekiel 37, God made two sticks one stick. The two kingdoms became one
Two houses came under one king (meaning they aren't necessarily kingdoms prior to that event).

The reference to David as king in Ez 37:24 points toward Christ (cf. Rev 22:16).

Thus the House of David and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem = All Judea and Jerusalem, which means the Whole House of Israel because God brought the Whole House of Israel out of the lands when He brought them, not half or 1/4 but ALL Israel
If David references Christ, would it not also be the case that the house of David represents Christianity? And if the house of Judah and the house of Ephraim/Israel join into the house of David, doesn't that mean that your interpretation of Zech 13 would really be talking about a phase when they become Christian?

All Israel Atones JUST BEFORE the DOTL.
I read this and this reinforces my hunch that you are talking about All Israel becoming Christian. With a timing before DOTL.

no one knows what tribe they are even from in most cases, and it really doesn't matter anyway.
What about the 144k and it's breakdown of the 12 tribes?
