Ephesians 4:4-6 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Christ is not THE Father.
But Christ came in the Name and full Authority of THE Father (as an eldest Son often did for his father who was king)...

...and Bob's your uncle.
Love it!! :)

Is God Always Superior to Jesus?
JESUS never claimed to be God. Everything he said about himself indicates that he did not consider himself equal to God in any way—not in power, not in knowledge, not in age.
In every period of his existence, whether in heaven or on earth, his speech and conduct reflect subordination to God. God is always the superior, Jesus the lesser one who was created by God.
Jesus Distinguished From God
TIME and again, Jesus showed that he was a creature separate from God and that he, Jesus, had a God above him, a God whom he worshiped, a God whom he called “Father.” In prayer to God, that is, the Father, Jesus said, “You, the only true God.” (John 17:3) At John 20:17 he said to Mary Magdalene: “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (RS, Catholic edition) At 2 Corinthians 1:3 the apostle Paul confirms this relationship: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Since Jesus had a God, his Father, he could not at the same time be that God.
The apostle Paul had no reservations about speaking of Jesus and God as distinctly separate: “For us there is one God, the Father, . . . and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 8:6, JB) The apostle shows the distinction when he mentions “the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels.” (1 Timothy 5:21, RS Common Bible) Just as Paul speaks of Jesus and the angels as being distinct from one another in heaven, so too are Jesus and God.
Jesus’ words at John 8:17, 18 are also significant. He states: “In your own Law it is written, ‘The witness of two men is true.’ I am one that bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me.” Here Jesus shows that he and the Father, that is, Almighty God, must be two distinct entities, for how else could there truly be two witnesses?
Jesus further showed that he was a separate being from God by saying: “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.” (Mark 10:18, JB) So Jesus was saying that no one is as good as God is, not even Jesus himself. God is good in a way that separates him from Jesus.

Who is this that shall come out of zion The Father or the Son ?

[h=3]Psalm 50[/h]King James Version (KJV)

50 The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

HI Karraster,..
I admire your honesty, but there is a lot of people out there , that have being deceived and don't want to admit it.so the question to them still remain is he , or not GOD the Father., and others call it A MYSTERY, please All of sincere Christians, consider these verses , Heb 13:8-9 that Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, note he is not some time a son and some time Father, asfor those who call it mystery, please consider these verses, rom 16:25 ephesians 1:9 and 3:4-5 surprisingly the mystery which was kept secret, is now made manifest unto us by his spirit, what mystery are they referring to? please consider Paul's words in col 2:2 note, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgement of the MYSTERY , of God and the Father, and of CHRIST...

God bless..
Who is it on that sits on white throne the Father or the Son ?

Revelation 20
[SUP]11[/SUP]And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus is God.

If you do not understand those 3 words, then what makes you believe you'll understand a longer explanation with Bible definitions? ...just saying. :)

Who is it on that sits on white throne the Father or the Son ?
...hmm... Well, what does the Bible say? :)

I saw the Lord (Adonai) seated on a high and exalted throne... (Isaiah 6:1)

He who overcomes, I [Jesus] will grant him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne (Rev. 3:21).

Both and all three. For it will be God who sits upon the Throne. To see the Transfigured Christ is to see God. When we look upon Transfigured Jesus we see the entirety of the Godhead. If we were to see the Father, we would see all revealed in the Father, and the same with the Holy Spirit. For it is three persons in one being. So, when the White Throne stands and we all come before it, we shall see God in ALL of His Glory!

The GOD of truth does not pray to himself nor does he sit on his own right hand.
Spiritual men understand GOD and Christ and are not confounded.
God has reserved confusion for the disobedient and disrespectful.

No man understands God. God said, "Your ways are not my ways, your thoughts are not my thoughts."

well the hebrews only believed in 1 god and it would have been blashpemy to worship any other. so what do we make of these verses,

Luke 24, 51While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53and were continually in the temple praising God.

Matthew 14 32When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. 33And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly God's Son!"

,mathew 28, 16But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.…

mathew 28,
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.

Well, according to the Bible, God sits on the Throne.

1. Why would Jesus be disqualified to sit on the Throne?

2. If Jesus is qualified to sit on the Throne, why would God, the Father, not want Jesus to sit on the Throne?

Please, kindly provide Bible verse with your response. :)

Revelation 3

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
