Are the saints qulified to sit on the throne also ?
Well,
a) what are "saints"?

b) Who has the authority to place a saint on any Throne?

c) What is the job of sitting on a Throne about?

d) why would God want you to sit on His Throne of glory? :)

No splitting hair , yes or not.answer with scriptures ,will do, thank you.

you see I am trying to understand Prov 30:4 what is His name , and what his son"s name, if thou canst tell;
because I hesitate to call jesus God the father , as many do; help if you can...

God bless...
God's name is " I am "
John 8:58
. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. "

Proverbs 30:4
"Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?"

These questions can be answered only by revelation from God. A man can know the “what” about creative wisdom through observation of the physical world and its inner workings, but cannot know the “who.” The “who” can be known only when God reveals Himself, which He has in Scripture. This is the testimony and conclusion of Job (Job 42:1-6), Solomon (Ecc. 12:1-14), Isaiah (Isaiah 40:12-17; 46:8-11; 66:18-19), and Paul (Rom.8:18-39)

The answer, of course, is Almighty God, but I believe this is saying what mere man can know Him. For sure, someone bigger than you and I. Someone that mere man can only speculate about.
If we were to think of all the names in the Bible for God and could accumulate them into one name, that would be the name of the personality that created all of this. This would be the unspeakable name of God. We know that power will be given in it, over it, and under it; and that at the name of Jesus all will bow.
This is a good verse to use when witnessing to Jews. Then ask them who this is speaking about. Of course they would answer God. Then read them the last sentence: “What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell”?
How would or could they answer? Of course God’s Son’s name is Jesus.

b) Who has the authority to place a saint on any Throne?

d) why would God want you to sit on His Throne of glory? :)

A) saints are holy angels and the redeemed of God

B) Luke 22:30That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

c) Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

D) God throne is Blue , Jesus throne is white , The saints thrones which is different from the Father and Jesus colour is well the bible did not say

Do you have bible to support what you say hmmmmmmm
God the Father throne

Ezekiel 1

26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

Jesus God the Son throne

Revelation 20
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Dear ones:

Yes, these forums can get Funny-N-Sweet, or deteriorate into to Yikes-N-Banned!

When it comes to the precious things of God, the holy and beautifully exalted faithfulness of God, we sinner fall very short of God's glory!

Frankly, harboring our sin is the wedge between God's sanctification and our damnation.
Why is it so very hard for you to understand very simply things like "Jesus is God"?
Why would you NOT want Jesus to be your God in the first place?

BananaPie has no problem with you seeking salvation in Jesus Christ; why then, would I have a problem with Jesus being able to redeem you and to grant you salvation?
Do you not know that only GOD can forgive your sins?

If Jesus Christ of Nazareth is not God enough to save your soul from damnation, why, then, are you messing around with Jesus Christ?

What do you want from Jesus if, according to you, He is not God enough to save you, forgive you, redeem you, resurrected you, and present you blameless before God?

I say this in all kindness in order to respectfully provoke you to seek God for Who God is. Let go of what Rev. pastor PhD wants you to believe, and grip unto solid Rock where springs of living water flow. ...just thinking out loud. :)

Okie dokie, I'll go chat with, whatchamacallit, OldHermit about triad and stuff.

To Sincere Christians -
Your explanation of Jesus is Both the Father and the Son is absurd. Not even in fiction is it found. Who can begot himself? HEB. 1:5 who is; I have begotten thee, who is I, and who is thee? you can not have it both ways. And as for IS 9:6 read it in the Hebrew translation, which reads "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called WONDERFUL Counselor, of the Mighty GOD of the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace", the English translation omits the preposition (OF) and cannot explain John 14:28 why Jesus said, "My Father is greater than I." Please note : Jesus has GOD over him. God has no one over him or even equal to him - John 20:17 to my Father and your Father, To My God and your God. 1st Cor. 11; 3 - "But I would have you know the head of every man is Christ; and the Head of the woman is man; and the head of Christ is God." Col 3:1 Where Christ sat on the right hand of God, and again sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemy's they footstool (Can Christ sit on his own right side?). In Matthew 22:41 - 46 Jesus is asking the same question, as I did; also consider 1st Cor 15:27 - 28; Who is exempt? from being under Jesus feet, and why Jesus at the end will be subject to the Father and give the Kingdom to God, if he is the FATHER? God Bless....
We show our emotions by expressing it, but God can speak or think anything into existence.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Matthew 21:19
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

Matthew 8:27
The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

So Nick1939, does Scripture disregard Scripture? Are we now to go down the road of heresy in order to answer an unanswerable question? We know that Jesus is not the Father, but that the two are One. We know that we are to baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, therefore Christ Himself recognizing the truth of the Godhead. To explain the unexplainable, to try and achieve that which NO MAN has ever been able to achieve, would only lead to heresy at best, and apostasy at worst.

You are holding your fellow Christians to an impossible standard. We believe in the Trinity, we believe in the Godhead, and we believe that all three persons exist in a single being that is God. That is all we can say, and that is all God has allowed us to know. Right now we "see through a mirror darkly" and we cannot understand anything. God is beyond all knowledge and it would take an eternity to even scratch the surface of the unknowable God. We are blessed that He wants us to know Him, but we cannot and never will.

Be realistic.

hi,ThomistColin. I am realistic, that is why I canot put what you saying that it is unexplainable, and that no man ever Achieved, you couldnot be more wrong, since Jesus prayer in John 17:3 says this is eternal life, to know thee , the ONLY true GOD , and Jesus Christ whom thou hast SENT. I am using scripture , no apostacy, neither herecy. stady some more the Lord can reveal this to you.. God bless.

A) saints are holy angels ...hmm... what verse are you referring to? and the redeemed of God Cool.

B) Luke 22:30That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Cool.

c) Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: ...and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. very Cool.

D) God throne is Blue, What?
 Jesus throne is white, The saints thrones which is different from the Father and Jesus colour is well the bible did not say. ...huh? The question was, "Why would God want you to sit on His Throne of glory?"
Frankly, there is no reason for anything or anybody created by God to sit on God's Throne.

Only God and Jesus Christ are Sovereigns qualified in holy wisdom and supreme justice to sit on a Throne to pass righteous judgement on the rest of us. I had a good time reading your response. :)

"He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Rev. 3:21.

Who can explain it to everyone's satisfaction? I understood as a child that God and Son and Holy Spirit were 3 aspects of ONE GOD. I liken it to being a young mom, with so much work so little sleep, and praying each evening to God, that He would grant me (in body form) strength in my (body) to carry out what my (mind) dictated, and that my (spirit) had directed my mind correctly. My mind and body are 2 different things, yet they are all a single (1) me. Also, I have a soul/spirit, and that has been mingled with God's Spirit. There are these 3 aspects in people, but they are all part of the 1 person. I remember the day I learned that it was Christ who created me. I thought, wow, I thought God the Father did all that! However, it wasn't difficult to accept it because I learned from the beginning of any understanding I had, that God, Son,Spirit are ONE. I cannot explain beyond this, what I know in my heart.
