Man calls the Holy Writings the Book, the Bible, a combination of the Tanakh and the New Testament or the Old Testament and the New Testament, but the collection of writings, as such, is not called any of these names in the Word.
If a quick reference to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is understood when the word, Trinity, is used, it means the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
As for what dogmas may be included in employing that term, I do not know them, nor do I need them. It is certain this holds true with most who believe the Word.
Perhaps I am wrong, even naive, but Trinity is a good reference to Yahweh, God when used without strings. Trinity is One God.
The term trinity is not the right term....
this is not to offend some,...
Its ok if someone wants to use that word, many past Good Christians have used that word.
But when it begins to sound like Jesus is all that is there,we go wrong...
Because Jesus himself made it very clear that there is a Father above Him and He is only Good(now that could be like He was humbling Himself because He was in flesh),
Holy Scripture says the Father promoted Him to the Throne right side of Father himself...
These are things we cannot comprehend right now.
None can reach the Father except through Jesus is another verse that points to a Father God..
The Father is what we are returning to when we Finish the Race in Christ...
All this is taken from Holy Scripture, none added...
i can give verses too..
The Godhead is a Holy Family like a person has different organs..or Family with many members...
God was not alone before Creation,....because it is Godhead..
This is Martyr Stephen's Testimony-is that a lie?
Acts 7:55.56 KJV
"But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man(ie,Jesus) standing on the right hand of God."
Now if its making one's brain heated up leave it,but God the Father is something there in Godhead and so is Holy spirit.Does Holy Scripture lie?
Jesus said HE and the Father are one,ok...
That's ok..it means in the Godhead and they existed as a unit even before time began when they began Creation. Now lets stop right there, because this is where we should put the margin as we can go 'crack' if we think how it was...
This is the reason why Jesus explained things in parables and stories, like making little children understand...because that's our capacity. In OT also many mysteries are not explained by God.
When God began to speak to Job,Job forgot the sorrows he had and found himself speechless to the things too marvellous that God asked him(Job) of..
Now regarding all the mysteries of Creation and beyond(before time began and about Eternity) we will know in full when we finally reach Heaven and God shares all the mysteries..
God Bless
