No, he is an animal. You are quite correct such a misconception cannot be found in the Bible because it simply is not there.

To answer this question, well, yes people assume things all the time.
you know better

not sure what your game is, but you know who the devil is and you know who fooled who in the garden

1Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time. Revelation 20

Jerimiahscup I'm clocking 50 to 100 times thru the NT and the OT less but the Devil is in the Bible in Genesis by ch 3 fallen...and Ezekiel only further explains it....we all know that Jesus saw Satan fall from heaven like lightening...so pls 1/3 of the angels ate fallen....the HS has backed all this up for a long time when we read....all the disagreements in this forum have to do with people reading little...3 times thru is only 300 hours work...try 10s of thousands of hours just reading whole books of the Bible and doing every verse...
You have to give all up as Jesus....John the Baptist and the apostles did...the Christian life is not a life of possessions....its a life of giving all ones things and time to the gospel as Jesus and Paul did....till then don't think 3 times thru is that much....its just 45 min a day for a year....not many hours a day for decades and not skipping any verse to obey....i still sin...but less

Sometimes in the Bible there are dual things being talked about. Example is Matthew 24 when disciples asking when these things come about. Jesus was not only talking about time in their days but also signs of the end times. Why to you feel Ezekiel is also not a dual discussion because again the King of Tyre was never a covering cherub. Lucifer was.
Lucifer was once known as the Angel of Light but now is the Prince of Darkness.

You have forgotten about the animals. Satan is no angel, nor is he a man, but he is an animal as Genesis and Revelation show.
scripture says he is an angel. You must be defining the ward angel different from how God defines it. Animals are always visible to us, Satan is and devils are not always visible.

No game. Your quote says it right there, the dragon is named Devil and Satan. As for who he fooled in the garden, he fooled the woman.

Excellent that you have read the Bible, however Genesis 3:1 states very clearly that the devil is an animal. The book of Ezekiel doesn't even mention him, the book of Ezekiel begins with Ezekiel in captivity and receiving the spirit of God and his commission to prophesy. The book of Ezekiel then goes into Ezekiel testifying against all the nations/races and their kings. Finally the book of Ezekiel concludes with Ezekiel measuring out the third temple.

A third of the angels will indeed be tricked by the dragon and will side with the dragon when the dragon foolishly makes war in heaven. The dragon and the foolish angels side with him shall be cast out of heaven and no place shall be found in the heaven for them anymore, but great woe to the earth for the Devil will be come to the earth in great wrath he will know on that day that his time short.

For reading the Bible, well yes I have put in a lot more hours chicken-pecking this or that book one off. I find doing a cover-to-cover read through is very beneficial though, it is very illuminating.

Yes you have to give up quite a lot to follow God, and most people will hate you for it, but it's worth it because there is true freedom in the truth of God.

No the man of sin will not be a catholic. The book of Daniel indicates that the man of sin will institute a religion and an idol to a false god that the fathers did not know. This means it will be an entirely new false religion. Not that this is an excuse for the false pagan religions and heretical religions that exist, those are obviously still bad, but merely they will not be the final false religion due to their false gods and doctrines being derived from their wicked fathers.

Lucifer was once known as the Angel of Light but now is the Prince of Darkness.
Incorrect. The word lucifer, which is latin for the dawnbringer, lightbearer, or the wandering star of venus, is an epithet found 5 times in the latin version of the Bible. It is never applied to an angel. Satan never had light in him, just like Jesus said. Satan was always an animal, he always will be an animal, and he always was and always will be evil. Man should have never listened to the animal to begin with when you consider that God gave man charge over the animals.

Nope you cannot find a single scripture that says Satan is an angel or says Satan was an angel. The closest you will get says that Satan tricks people by pretending to be angel of light. I am not defining angel differently at all, the angels were made to be the messengers and attendants of Lord God. They were created by Lord God a little higher than man. Satan by contrast is a lowly creation, for he is an animal, and after his original sin of his Three Lies (the spirit/breath of the demons) he was cursed above all the other animals by Lord God. Just further proof that he is an animal.

This seems to describe Satan as the angel of light.

Isaiah 14:12-15 12How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! 13You said in your heart, "I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.

Isaiah 14 is not addressed to Satan, but is addressed to the King of Babylon.

Oh how Nebuchadnezzar was made to break the nations, but his heart waxed against the knowledge of God and he thought he would ascend higher than God, but he was ripped down to hell, and all that will see him will look narrowly upon him and say, is this the man that made the earth tremble?

Are you saying that the king of Babylon was cast down from heaven to the earth? What was the king of Babylon doing in heaven in the first place?

That verse is not about Satan. That verse is about the King of Tyre as indicated by verse 12. Tyre was an ancient very famous and a very wealthy city in the ancient world. It would be in what is today presently Lebanon, so very close to Israel. The Bible and other historical records indicate the Tyrians were mostly merchants made very wealthy mostly for their product known as Tyrian Purple, a very very rare dye in the ancient world favored by the nobility of many different kingdoms. The Tyrians were racially Canaanites, specifically of the course of Sidon (son of Canaan, and also a city-state in its own right later on.) Sidon is also mentioned in this prophecy by Ezekiel in this chapter and the next few chapters.

The ultimate fate of Tyre was that the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, destroyed the land settlement of Tyre, but the Tyrians created a Tyre in the middle of the sea which escaped destruction (this is both in secular history as well as a prophecy the biblical book of Zechariah). In accordance to the prophecies, the Tyre in the sea would not escape destruction and the third beast king Alexander would eventually build a causeway to the Tyre in the sea and ultimately destroy it.
If verse 12 is about king of tyre who’s in verse 13, was king of tyre as well was in the garden?

Yes. Nebuchadnezzar was a great tree who shot his boughs up to the heavens and he lifted and magnified himself even above Lord God and his heart forgot Lord God, therefore was he cut down to the ground by the decree of the watchers to the intent that man should know that the Most High rules over all the earth and he sets up kings and strikes them down.

Yes Ezekiel 28:13 is about the King of Tyre how he was fabulously wealthy by his wisdom which Lord God gave to him, but his earthly riches blinded him therefore the Lord God utterly wasted him and destroyed Tyre so thoroughly that it is barely remembered.

I don’t believe the king of tyre was in the garden of God, unless you are calling the king of tyre satan himself?

Ezekiel 28:13
You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald. Your mountings and settings were crafted in gold, prepared on the day of your creation.

Do you believe that the Pharaoh, King of Egypt was a tree in the Garden of Eden as Ezekiel 31 says?

Exactly! The king of Babylon is a symbolic name representing Satan. Just like in Dan.10, the Prince of Persia who kept the angel from getting to Daniel for 21 days, is representing a fallen angel/principality.

No, the King of Babylon is a man that made the earth tremble. Such a king of Babylon is found also in the scriptures later on after Isaiah's time. His name was Nebuchadnezzar.
