I am aware of the, “Nothing new under the sun” verse.

But,
For instance:

Voting
Modern medicine and it’s uses

I don’t believe these topics are addressed directly but they possibly are addressed, indirectly.

Kings of the earth where not voted into power, like they appear to be today.

I am curious if anyone else has come across any other topics like these?

Let's see... XLR cables, bit rates, field marks on Empidonax flycatchers, variations on the flam rudiment, optimal hockey stick materials, graphene, flatwound bass strings, radial tires, orca hunting strategies, brush cutters, glyphosate, high-carbon steel, bridges, televisions, plastics....

There are far more topics that the Bible does not address than those it does. The Bible is not an encyclopaedia; it's the word of God to humankind that gives us all the information we need to trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and live in a way that pleases God and is effective in extending His kingdom.

However, it's not my intention to shut down your conversation. :)

There were doctors in the New Testament and "medical" approaches to wounds and other maladies using natural remedies. throughout the Word.

The old testament consist mostly of Israel's history, but there are commonalities with the human nature

Not to contradict you but you would be surprised…..( I don't relly think you wold, but you know what I am saying, I hope.)

Jesus worked the temple of the holy Spirit, our body, we are swimming in the water off the holy Spirit, and Psalms 23:3 - he restores our soul, like we are cars for the spiritual journey

The Bible does talk about casting lots and the contentions will cease, I wonder if thats about voting or they just pick leaders at random for example when the apostles picked matthias to be their twelfth after Judas transgressed.

My understanding of the lots for the replacement of Judah was to "give our Father" the deceision and not men. I know it is profesied thatt lots be cast for this event.

Some would say some modern medicine is just the same as sorcery because of the root word of it is pharmacoepia where we get the word pharmaceuticals from, the wonder drugs. That arent so wonderful at all.

I know cos modern medicine didnt cure me it harmed me, and made things worse I was only healed by the grace of God thanks to Jesus.

Good question...my thoughts: The Word of God provides us essential revelation about God, His character and nature, how we come to Him and how we are to live to partake of His kingdom realm as born again children, from now and through eternity. We are also given timeless wisdom that helps us to walk in Christ, and reflect Him throughout our lives.

As far as technological advances and the like, it does not speak to the inventions, but we are given the wisdom to live in an ever changing world. We see in the Tower of Babel how mankind tried to build a tower, a global community, in opposition to God. The scripture says God confused the languages and the people scattered. We also receive lots of wisdom that helps us to be in the changing world, but not of it, to be renewed in the mind by His Word, and recognize that this world and the things in it are passing away.

We are encouraged to keep our minds on things above and not beneath, and to recognize the eternal is forever, but the temporal is not. We see the disciples and our Lord obeyed laws and utilized the communication and other technologies of their day, such as boats, writing, and speaking. The Holy Spirit has crafted the Word of God through many generations of prophets and apostles, and has employed communication strategies beyond our imagination, in a manner that can only be done by a The Soirit of God.

Well, I cant really think of anything that is new that hasnt ever happened before.

Todays newspaper headlines include news reports of..

Politicans making bad judgement calls
Car crashes
Sports teams wins
Sinful peoples scandals
Rising property prices
Royal schmoozers

Nothing new here...
