We wouldn't have Christianity as we know it without the Church Fathers. They are the only reason why the 4 Gospels are valid. Its not by magic that the 27 books of the New Testament were selected. The Bible did not just magically fell from the sky like the holy Koran did. It was given by the Church.

It wasn't by magic, it was because of the Church and its Fathers and Founders. The book of Revelation was not even officially canonized until the 5th Century. The Church has the authority on the Bible, they know how to interpret it correctly. The Church is a very high structure with many grace bearing properties. The Church Fathers are the Founders of the Church who built the Church on Christ. It is they who gave us the Divine Liturgy which is the proper was to worship God. It was they who gave us the "Full knowledge of Christ unto a perfect man"(Ephesians 4:12). It was they who gave us the Sacraments and the Holy Hymns and Services of the Church. All by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.


Don't just blindly accept the Bible without having proof of its authenticity. The only proof of the Bible's authenticity is the Church, otherwise, you cannot explain to people why they should regard it as Divine Revelation. Only by looking in the actual text of Scripture (the New Testament) and seeing that the Church is the "Ground and Pillar of the Truth" (1 Timothy 3:15) can you understand why you should regard the Bible as authentic. You will see that it is the Church which is the keeper of the Truth of Christianity. Where is the Church? Its in one of the Ancient Churches of holy Tradition.

No. I believe the Bible is an accurate account of events, and I believe Jesus Christ is God in flesh. Therefore, the teachings of Jesus Christ, which are found in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, should be obeyed to the letter.
