John 3: 16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Where in the world did God give his son? He gave him amongst the Jews. If God wanted that the world not perish, why did He not give his son among the gentiles who did not know of God at all? Why not give Jesus among the Greeks? Does the Bible have an explanation?

While it is true that Proverbs 3:5 says to trust in God with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, Timothy 3:16 says that the Bible was breathed out by God for our training, correction, reproof and correction. But these things require that we be able to understand what the Bible is saying. So, if the Bible says that Jesus was born amongst the Jews, we may try to understand why he wasn’t born amongst the gentiles such as the Greeks or the non-Jewish Romans.

Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, TO THE JEW FIRST and also to the Greek.” God may have wanted that the world be saved, but He started with the Jews. That may be because the Jews’ belief in God, the belief of the People of the Book, had gone astray, with acts such as gambling and trade in God’s House of Worship on the Sabbath. Could the world be saved if God had started with the rest of the world first, by planting Jesus among the Greeks? I guess it would be ironic if the Greeks, who were not God’s chosen people, imparted to God’s chosen people a righteous way of believing in God.

But Romans 1:16 puts the salvation of God to the Jews first before anyone else. And many of Jesus’ disciples were Jewish who learned from Jesus the power of God for salvation, and Jesus in Mark 16:15-16 commands those disciples to spread God’s Word to the rest of the world.

But between then and now, many of the gentiles who were converted saw their duty as forcing their belief in God, among the Jews. And so, these gentiles persecuted the Jews and tried forcing them to convert to their understanding of God through Jesus. That sort of makes topsy-turvy the passage of Romans 1:16. It’s as if Romans 1:16 said, ‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, TO THE GREEK FIRST and THEN to the JEW.’

But Romans 1:16 seems to imply that it is up to the Jew to accept God’s salvation through Jesus, not to the gentiles who became aware of God only comparatively recently. But the offspring of those who were newly converted didn’t see it that way, apparently. What motive would they have for persecuting the Jews? Did not Jesus say to love thy neighbor as thyself? Did not Jesus define a neighbor as someone who could help you? Is killing the Jews the Crusade’s way of ioving their neighbor? Are the Inquisitions of the offspring of the newly converted against the Jews their way of loving their neighbor? Is the anti-Semitism that is in the news lately the way of the offspring of the newly-converted of loving their neighbor?

And let’s be sure of Jesus command to his disciples in Mark 16:15-16. When he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, BUT WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE WILL BE CONDEMNED,” did he mean that whoever does not believe, after receiving his teaching, should be tried for heresy, killed on sight, scorned, displaced, deprived, disenfranchised and ghettoized?

But what was Jesus teaching? He was teaching the Law that was given to the Jews. He says to the Jews in Matthew 5:17, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”

He also said that nobody goes to God except through him, but where do you draw the line between fulfilling God’s Law by loving your neighbor, and hating your neighbor contrary to God’s Law? Jesus also says in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies. Even if the Jews were perceived as being the enemy, would it be Christian-like to not love them?

If God meant for the Jews to be the enemy, if such is the case, then why was Jesus born amongst them? God only knows.

The Old Testament tells the backstory. The Jews (so-called) are God's chosen people. He chose to make for Himself a people, beginning with Abram, who would bear His Name and would model His kingdom to the nations. He prepared the lineage of Yeshua through His people. He could not have "dropped" Yeshua into the Greek world; that would make prophecy incomplete. "To the Jew first" has been fulfilled; salvation in Yeshua was offered to Israel. Most of Israel rejected Him.

Anti-Semitism is racism. People who claim to be Christians yet are anti-Semitic (or racist in any guise) are not acting in line with the gospel. There is no excuse to persecute people just because they reject the gospel. We are to pray for them, witness to them, prophesy to them (as the Lord leads!), and demonstrate by our lives that trusting in and living for Jesus really is better than living for any other purpose.

Whether or not someone is a Jew or Gentile or Greek, we are all human beings. Regardless of our differences whether of race, culture, religion, gender, or sexual orientation and anything else that may divide, we all have certain things in common that unites. We are all human beings who come from Adam and Eve, created by one God. And Christ Jesus died for everyone who is in the world to pay for the sins of the entire world, that whoever will receive Jesus may have eternal life in him. Love is of God. Hatred for others, whoever they may be, is not of God.

Jews were used in a parables up until the time or reformation in the same way God used clean and unclean animals in ceremonial laws as shadows of the unseen eternal to represent those who believe unto eternal life. Clean animals like a lamb and the unclean like a Ass, a metaphor expressing those who have no faith. Belief or unbelief were represented by the flesh of animal and the flesh of a Jew .But never in respect to the working out of it rather than shadows of the eternal .

I would offer. "To the Jew first" must have a different understanding .Taking it at face value loses the spiritual understanding in that parable.. (comparing the spiritual understanding not seen to the same spiritual or faith to faith.

God is no respecter of persons . If he was we would have to give the same authority rather than using the word "also" he would of said next in line..

The every soul of man is compared to every man that works good on one side and

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and "also" of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and "also" to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.Romans2

There is no more emphasis on the flesh of either as in some sort of idea that god is a respecter of the flesh of nations. .

The Jews are not the enemy, but only according to the Gospel, but some turn to the Gospel, and in the future the nation of Israel will be in the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

The Bible says pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and God placed His name there.

God called the nation of Israel to follow Him, and it is always like that with no wavering, except when the Jews were rebellious then they were disciplined, then they were restored, and they will be restored in the future.

The Bible says that any time the Jews call upon God in the truth, even in the latter days, which is now, He will hear them, and restore them.

And Paul said that God has not cast off His people that He once foreknew, and there is always a remnant that follow the truth, as even now.

The Bible says that Israel is world without end, which will go to the New Jerusalem, where the 12 tribes of Israel, and the 12 apostles of the Lamb are written in the New Jerusalem.

The disciples asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom on earth to them at that time, and He said it will happen in the future.

God said He will restore the kingdom to the Jews on earth after they have borne their shame for their trespasses against Him, and then they will know the LORD their God from that time forward, and He will never hide His face from them again, and the heathen will know that God was always on the Jews side.

It is all about Israel, and Israel is the Church, which some Jews followed Jesus when He was on earth, and a Gentile when saved becomes a Jew inward, and part of the commonwealth of Israel.

Jesus said salvation is of the Jews, and He was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel, and then it branched out from there, for He had to go to the Jews first for the kingdom is their kingdom.

A Gentile belongs to Israel when they are saved, for Israel is the Church, and God said He never cast away His people.

Which Israel is blinded in part, which they acknowledge the Old Testament for the majority of them, but not the New, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in when salvation is no longer available to them, so all Israel shall be saved when Jesus saves them from the world, the battle of Armageddon, and restores the kingdom to them, and all Gentile nations will cease to have power.

Which God said He will make a full end of the all Gentile nations, but not make a full end of Israel, but they will be punished in part for their rebellion.

For concerning Israel the gifts and calling of God are without repentance on God's part, so He called them, so He will never turn away from it, but will always bring them to the truth after they have borne their shame for not accepting the truth, and abiding by it.

God said if the ordinances of heaven are still in affect, the sun, and the moon, and the stars, then His covenant with Israel still stands, and if His covenant is not with day and night, and the ordinances of heaven, then He will cast away the seed of Jacob, and David His servant.

But we see those things are still in affect so God's covenant, and Him working with them, and with them, are the same as when He first called them in the Old Testament.

It is Israel all the way from Abraham, to the nation of Israel, to the Church, to the millennial reign, to the New Jerusalem.

But hate towards the Jews will increase as time goes on, the same as hate towards the Muslims, Arabs, will increase as time goes on, the same as the hate towards the Christians will increase as time goes on, for all 3 in their fundamental beliefs are contrary to what the world has going on at that time, the new age movement, and their belief in a personal God.

For the world will go against Islam, which they are plucked up by the roots, nuclear weapons, then they accept the New Age Christ, the man of sin, and then the world will go against the Christians which will be the greatest persecution against the truth in human history, and the saints will be caught up to Jesus, and then the world will go against Jerusalem, the Jews, which they will try to get all of Israel, but then Jesus will come back with all the saints, and defeat the world, and save Israel.

God gave Jesus to the Jews first, but in the Old Testament He said it would be for the Gentiles too, for all will be judged by Jesus both Jew and Gentile, so if the Gentiles are judged then they would be able to know the truth, and God would provide it.

For God said in the Old Testament that a Gentile could take hold of His covenant.

And if Gentiles are judged by their sins, then they should be able to also get rid of those sins, which they can by the blood of Jesus, so Jesus is for all people that accept, which Peter said that God is no respecter of persons, but in all nations those that fear Him, and do righteousness is accepted by Him.

But the world is a big place, and Jesus in the flesh cannot be everywhere at the same time, so He has to start somewhere and that is Israel.

Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

I believe it is a good idea to not be against the Jews, or Israel, but support them.

The Bible says that any time the Jews call upon God in the truth, even in the latter days, which is now, He will hear them, and restore them.
A couple of questions?

I would ask he will hear them what seeing they do not believe as in faithless. ?

Jews as in all unbelievers (no faith) are the ones that refuse to hear Him now? So what will be they restored to? And what purpose would there be for keeping on genealogy seeing Christ has already come as the Son of man? Can any man trace his ancestry back to the Mathew account?

We are to know no man after the flesh or what the eyes see . God is not a man as us and neither is there a fleshly mediator to stand between God not seen and man seen . I would suggest we walk by faith the eternal not seen and not after the two avenues of the father of lies. We are made aware of the wile.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Even when the Son of man, Jesus was called good Master as a fleshly mediator between God not seen and man seen (called a daysman) The Son of man, Jesus refused to stand in the unseen Holy place of faith and said only God is good. giving glory to the father not seen. God defines the word good by that seen the temporal as belonging to the eternal one who has no form to behold. His name is Jealous he will not share that glory with the flesh of any man. Jesus informs us it profits for nothing.

God is Spirit, God is Light, God is Love. The Holy trinity

Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Even though some faithless ones like Thomas did walk by sight for that short time period Jesus was on earth for that one time demonstration of the unseen work of God pouring out his Holy Spirit on corrupted flesh of Jesus as he promises in Joel . When the Spirit of Christ left having disappeared out of sight he informed us in 2 Corinthians we are to know him no more forever more after the flesh.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, "yet now henceforth" know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians5:16-14

Yes the word neutral word Israel (He who wretles with men seen, and God not seen and overcomes) is used to represent both belief and un-belief. Faith and no faith. Light and darkness .The things seen and the things not seen .

Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

The name Israel having nothing to do with the flesh but rather the name appointed by God. At the name of Jesus every Christian knee will bow. The transferring or conversion of outward Jew to a born again Christian, inward Jew.

Yes rules with Emanuel as God works in the believer to both will and do his good pleasure. Interestingly he asks us to beleive without murmuring? I think to help us have a humble or soft fleshly heart that he as the Potter can form Christ in these earthen vessels (flesh and blood) .

Its interesting that he calls us as those who search the scriptures daily to see if what we hear mixing it with faith (believing God not seen) as kings like the noble Bereans in Acts. after the new manner, no longer after the Levites but after as promised in Joel all the nations of the world, after the new manner of Melchezedek, the Son of God.... he remains our high priest without beginning or end of days..

OK. And so Galatians 3:29 says "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."

The Jew is not the enemy, for God created the race especially for our benefit.

ROMANS 11:1-2: I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. GOD HAS NOT CAST AWAY HIS PEOPLE WHOM HE FOREKNEW.

Salvation is of the Jews. "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22).

God’s word came through the Jews. Romans 3:1 What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? 2 Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God. 3 What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. Almost every man entrusted with His word in the NT were Jews.

God’s gifts to man came through the Jews, the covenants, the law, God’s promises to us, and even Christ came through the Jews.

The blindness of the Jews is, in part, for our sake. ROMANS 11:25: For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. The Jews have been blinded to allow time for the FULLNESS of the Gentiles to come in.

We worship the same God the Jews worship, they believe in the same Messiah. We believe the Messiah has come, they do not. They try very hard to obey their God, we don’t. Gentiles go to Christ for the forgiveness of sin and through Christ we are sin free. We forget, then, that through Christ we are to keep free of sin, to die to sin so we actively live sin free.

We are told to follow the Jew, altho a Jew follows God as best he can and we are to follow the same God in the same way, except through Christ.

Does the Bible have an explanation?
Of course the Bible has an explanation.

ROMANS 9
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth [1] the adoption, and [2] the glory, and [3] the covenants, and [4] the giving of the law, and [5] the service of God, and [6] the promises;

5 [7] Whose are the fathers, and [8] of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

So the Bible gives us -- through the apostle Paul -- EIGHT SOLID REASONS -- why Christ was born a Hebrew of the Hebrews, descended from Abraham, of the tribe of Judah, and of the line of David. Now it is your job to study what Paul was talking about.

And please note that Christ is God over all, and blessed for ever. Not a mere man, as some would suggest.

The Bible has a explanation. It becomes will use the proper hermeneutics and you search for it as for silver or gold.?

He gave the Son of man, Jesus to be used as a one time "demonstration" of the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world. Jesus as the Son of man came to fulfill the prophecy of Joel as coming to pour out His Holy unseen Spirit on flesh .The flesh of itself did not profit it was the unseen Spirit that did perform the work .

The "demonstration" is not the actual work. It was used as a parable properly divided using the prescription found in 2 Corinthian 4:18.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal

Your post is better described as obfuscation, rather than explanation.

Jesus, the Son of man, is neither a "demonstration" nor a parable. He is God in the flesh. He is the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world.

Abraham believed in God and obeyed Him.
God promised Abraham that because he obeyed Him, the Savior would be a blood relative to him.

All the Israelites are blood related to Abraham, his son Isaac, and Isaac's son Jacob.

When Jesus came, it only matters now that we are related to Jesus' blood.
It no longer matters to whom are related by blood to Abraham; not since Jesus came and we have to go through Jesus' blood.

Genesis 26:4-5 I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and kept my requirements, my commands, my decrees and my laws."

The Israelites were chosen because they were blood related to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Deuteronomy 7:8But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Deuteronomy 4:37
Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,

Deuteronomy 9:5 It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Micah 7:20You will be faithful to Jacob, and show love to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our ancestors in days long ago. The ANCESTORS of the Israelites are ABRAHAM, ISAAC, and JACOB.

See John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Did you read how the scripture says 'not of natural descent'?

Natural decent is about those to whom we are blood related.

The written Word of God says NOT of natural descent. That means it does not matter if someone is blood related to Abraham anymore.

Now see how the scripture says not of human decision?

That is about a human cannot make the decision to to be saved without God saving them.

See how the scripture says not of a husband's will?

That is about a husband not being able to have his wife become a Jew, or even a Christian, by converting her with certain rituals the Jews used to do.

In the past, a Jew could marry and then the wife performs the practices of Judaism, and so become a Jew and a child of God...this is no more now since Jesus.

Being born of God is how we are now saved. We are born of God by receiving the Holy Spirit. We receive the Holy Spirit by asking Jesus to save us, after we repent of our sins and call on him. When Jesus saves us and gives us his Holy Spirit that is when we are born again.

Jesus came first for the lost sheep of Israel. They are the Jews who already belonged to God by faith. Jesus was going to make a new covenant based on faith; the old covenant was based on the purification works of the law and not based on faith.
When Jesus came, God cut off all the Jews who did not already belong to Him by faith, and God hardened those Jews so while Jesus walked the earth, the cut off Jews could not get saved yet. See, God bound those faithless Jews over to the same place as the disobedient Gentiles.
All the Jews who already belonged to God by faith, they now had to go through Jesus to remain God's. Jesus said he would not lose one that God gave him.

John 12:32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."

Jesus also said that when he is crucified, then all people could come to him to be saved.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Romans 2:9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;

Acts 3:26 When God raised up His servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Acts 18:6 But when they opposed and insulted him, he shook out his garments and told them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

But what was Jesus teaching? He was teaching the Law that was given to the Jews. He says to the Jews in Matthew 5:17, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
No; Jesus did not come and teach the old law. Jesus came and gave all the rules and regulations for His Last Will and Testament, and then he died and it came into force.
In Jesus' teachings, he tells us how to become an heir, and what to do to receive the inheritance.

Jesus fulfilled the old law with the purification works of the law.

All those works were about him; and when he came, he fulfilled them.

The Jews used to have to get circumcised in the flesh as a physical sign they belonged to God and were clean; now Jesus circumcises us in the heart and our sign we belong to God is that we have the Holy Spirit.

The Jews had to do special baths to wash themselves for various reasons.

Now Jesus washes us with the Word and his blood.

The Jews used to have to adhere to a special diet as a symbol of separatism; now we all can be saved, just by faith.

The Jews used to have to observe special days, those special days were about Jesus; now we observe Jesus all day every day and special day are nothing.

The Jews used to have to sacrifice animals for their blood; now Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb of God once and for all.

The Jews used to have to go to the temple with a high priest; now Jesus is our High Priest and we become the temple.

So you see how Jesus did not nullify any of that but rather fulfilled it?

All those purification works of the law were a teaching tool about what was coming; Jesus was coming. Those purification works of the law were a shadow of Jesus. Jesus has come and we no longer have to observe shadows. There are no shadows in the Light, Jesus.
