Jesus has enemies. Many enemies. Everything from false churches to governments which consider themselves to be in authority. Every enemy will be made to be a footstool under His feet. And the last enemy to be defeated will be death.

Jesus is my Lord, and many others have Him as Lord.

Jesus is my God. One day soon, He will be everyone's God.

I pray for that day to hurry.

I think that is a little misguided, as I see what you are trying to promote. Now, for the present Satan has control, but he does not have ultimate control. It was given to him in the garden through sin. But Jesus has already reversed that verdict to those that walk after him, who obey him. He is not god of this world in that he owns the world, but that for a short time he is allowed to reign here, but not over the chosen and the elect of God. He is god of this world in that those who are of the world (unbelievers) worship him and not the one true Lord of Lords, and king of kings. THE KINGDOM IS GOD'S!! WILL ALWAYS BE HIS!!! AND THE POWER IS HIS!! AND THE GLORY IS HIS! FOREVER!
Dear Ramon, What was misguided in what I said? If you can explain, please tell me. What did I get wrong? In Erie Scott May 2011 AD

Fine.

Everyone who has admonished me for using Biblical teachings is now unable to ever use Biblical arguments on this forum.

I'm happy to agree with that.

Otherwise stop being hypocrites.

Satan rules this world, and it's very evident. It's in the bible. It's a corner stone of Christian teaching.

It's why we need a saviour.

No, it is not about wrong and right here. Just a little, that is all. But I see what you mean. May Jesus bless you.

Well, if you read Isaiah 24, it's pretty clear who owns the world and its inhabitants ;)
(buckle up!)

The "god of this world" as in reference to satan is only "god" to those that are not "in Christ". The planet is cursed by sin.
I'd like to point out that there's nothing Satan can do without God's permission.

I never claimed Satan was a God or that he was God. If you can specifically point out where I described the entity of Satan as God, then I will apologise.

What to make of this verse, or will you ignore me?
John 18:36
New International Version (©1984)
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place."

It has been taught that when Adam sinned, he gave rulership of the world and all that was in it to the devil. I do not believe this is true. What is true is that Adam's sin went so far as to foul even the heavenly untinsils of worship, because the blood of Jesus was needed to cleanse even these. I also believe that what rules the earth and all that is in it is death. This is the last enemy to be defeated, in all of creation. For even the creation has been subjected to futility.

Satan is a god, obviously a false one, but a god all the same. There are many who worship him. I said earlier that he rules the world, but that is too simple an explanation. The devil rules by deception. The trouble is that without God's redemptive work in our hearts and minds, we are completely susceptible to the devil's deceptions. One who has not received the Holy Spirit has no hope of know the truth about right and wrong, nor about righteousness. And even worse, they are an enemy of God by birth, by their very nature. The prophet wrote that there is none good, not even one. Jesus told the Jews who were arguing with Him that they were of their father, the devil.

God is in control, but He has allowed the devil a certain latitude in his actions, except in the case of His servants. And some of them will be tested until they fall, so that they can be made pure.

David, I think you're misunderstanding my posts. I know what you meant in your first response to the OP. I know all too well about the Illuminati/Masonic cult etc. Yes, they are Lucifer worshipers. I did my research.
In my response I meant that God is overall in control even over the evil, because nothing that happens is without Him allowing it to happen. So in that sense I meant he is Lord over all. (OP) I was merely agreeing with that.
I understand what your'e saying tho. :) ok?
And i don't ignore people. I just don't come in here on time to answer posts immediately directed to me.

Wow. That makes me wonder about this:

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

May Jesus bless you.

We really don't know what it will be like when we finally see Him, but I suspect that we will fall at His feet as dead.

I look forward to when the new haevens and earth are brought forth from God. Then will death truly be defeated, for this new heavens and earth will never die.

I can just barely imagine what the death of His creation does to the heart of God. We are a part of that creation, and it could be said thT we are the reason for it. What most do not realize is our part in it's death.

Blessings in His name brother

2 Peter 1:2-8 (New King James Version)

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Fruitful Growth in the Faith

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
