I think I will apologize, I don’t think you are Zone you’re not the same.
So sorry.
But you can call me Wakeup if you like, because I don’t mind what you call me, as long as Jesus calls me at the last day.
PS.
Apparently a day is not a day according to some
And a week is not a week according to some
And a month is not a month according to some.

Is that better
lol you thought I was Zone? its ok. we are not the same though we share some of the same beliefs.

I will not call you Wakeup unless you have used that name in the past. I just don't like deception in any form. therefore if you are Wakeup then I will call you that but if you are not then I will call you PeterT.

back to the discussion:
as you can see a week can mean seven days it can also mean seven years.

Most of us seek to understand what God is trying to reveal to us with His words and going around insulting others is not the best way to uncover any Truth God might reveal.

I believe that many of the prophecies of the OT have been fulfilled because Jesus said He did it. How that is done I am still learning. Since I do not know that much of Jewish traditions and feast and prophecy except what I've read in the Bible.

Luke 24

44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise[h] from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things.

John 19:28
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”;

Acts 13:33
God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘ You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.

So PeterT ever used the screenname Wakeup?

your beliefs seem to match on quite a few points.
[/QUOTE]Peter is not Wakeup Ananda. Peter spells much better than wakeup! No offence Peter, I understand you perfectly. ;)

Go back and look at Wakeup's old threads. They are two different people Ananda!

yeah your right I looked it up later. Sorry Peter, I was just testing to see what you would do and say.

however your test for false prophets is somewhat lacking.

one of the key ones is they tell you what you want to hear and how to fulfill your lust and pretend its gospel.

Example: you get to rule the world for a 1000 years.

For a start I think we use the word false prophets way too loosely, as I could say the same thing about you.

Rv20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Little black book of false prophets.

A day is not a day.

A week is not a week.

A month is not a month.

A 1000 years is not a 1000 years.

We are not getting bodies like Jesus got.

Daniel 2 is fulfilled.

Daniel 9 is fulfilled.

Matt 24 is fulfilled.

WOW, you guys have been busy

Very busy, busy berrying the gospel, busy berrying Bible prophecy.

And who do you say you serve?
I haven't read the whole thread, but why do you go about picking fights?

Reigning as priest with Jesus is different then ruling the world. do you know the difference?

here is a key one:

Matthew 23:11
But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

when people dream of ruling the world with Jesus what do they imagine it will be like?

Are they willing to get on their hands and knees to serve others so that they might learn of God and His commandments?

Are they willing to be spit upon and cursed when they say no to people who still have sin in their lives and are enslaved to their flesh and have not the NEW heart or the NEW Spirit from God?

Yes some will be priest and reign with Christ but what does that truly mean?

And why do people not start now and rule as Christ taught us to rule on Earth during His life by being servants to all?

Is everyone saved in this millenium kingdom? If yes then who are the people Satan leads into rebellion when he is released? IF no, then how it is different then the world now?

no the false prophets I speak of offer people this and pretend that God is the one promising it to them.

Matthew 4
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

God has warned us, do you heed the warnings?

2 Thessalonians 2
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Why do you think that Rev 20:6 has priests and not kings and priests as in Rev 1:6. Although the NIV translates Rev 1:6 like this:-

Revelation 1:6 (New International Version)

6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

[/QUOTE]Ananda, during the millenium, only the ones inside the boundary of the kingdom will be saved. They will live and die, and get resurrected in the 2nd resurrection. Not those outside the kingdom, they won't all be saved.

I never thought much about it except it was one of the rewards/positions we will holed as we reign with him in the 1000 years.

In the OT the verse went like this. Exodus 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

But john new that verse and was probable inspired by it, and ye he prophesied kings and priests twice.

In the OT one of the twelve tribes were called to be priests.

I have not got that kind of faith to reverse the prophecy back to kingdom of priests.

But john prophesied kings and priests not ones but twice. And I fear the Lord and this verse to change it back.

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

That’s not really an accurate description of me I don’t think.
Just like to shake the tree to see what comes out.

Yes but the way you word your argument is bound to anger people. It's attacking people who think differently in an indirect way.

I was calling it like I saw it...I wasn't putting anyone down for different doctrinal stances.
I smell a double standard here.

O man that calls it the way he sees it.

They are passing off mouldy fruit loops, bull manure and sour milk as the word of God.

Christians are suspicious of Christians.

Bible prophecy is being buried at an alarming rate in the last 30 years.

The church is fat, rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.

And I think you would have me, bite my tongue and sit in silence.

O man that caaaaaaaaaaaalls it the way he sees it.

it’s better to have too much fire than none at all.

First of all, I'm a woman, so why say "o man"?

They are passing off mouldy fruit loops, bull manure and sour milk as the word of God.
That's your opinion. That's your point of view. And you can't lump all churches into one group, when they all differ from one another greatly, and there are probably churches that agrees with your interpretation.

Bible prophecy is being buried at an alarming rate in the last 30 years.
That is your opinion. There's many churches that focuses greatly on end times, rapture, and other topics that have to do with prophecy.

The church is fat, rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing.
Really? Well, I wish those rich churches would pass my church some money, because my church, and others in this area, are far from "rich and fat."

And I think you would have me, bite my tongue and sit in silence.
I never said you couldn't speak. I only wish you wouldn't attack your breathren when you speak. Especially since your speak in ignorance, as I pointed out earlier in this post.

You can communicate your opinion without attacking other churches. You could say "I feel the church [specify which church here] has become fat and rich and this is why. [...] What do you think?"

O man that caaaaaaaaaaaalls it the way he sees it.
That's woman, thank you very much.

it’s better to have too much fire than none at all.
Too much fire, you burn. Healthy fire for the Lord is good, but not when you attack the household of faith. Jesus says the world knows us by the love we show to each other.

Deep.

I don’t know where you come from.

But where I come from in the real world there are few that are saved.

I’m shoer the lord will forgive for having too much fire, than he would for being lukewarm.

Entry into the little book of False Prophets:
]
DENY DENY DENY that JESUS IS GOD!

If that doesn't work then teach works Salvation and DENY His atonement work on the Cross for the remission of sins, make people think they have to work for it and place their faith in their works instead of JESUS CHRIST.

IF that doesn't work see if you can get them to accept other books like the Gospel of Barnabas or the Gospel of Judas or the Book of Enoch or the Koran or the Bhavagad Gita, or the Buddhist Suttras as revealed words of GOD.

IF they still don't buy it then teach postmodern acceptance and tolerance so they will leave you alone. then find a new victim who is not rooted and mature in Christ and is able to be swayed by doctrines of men.
