All in all none of these questions matter, I know that. Me believing in jesus christ as my savior is all that matters. ... so why are they and many more still on my friggin mind pretty much from I wake up till I go to bed??
The enemy will use whatever he can to get the children of God to stumble, and while there is nothing wrong with asking questions, I believe for you the enemy uses these questions to make you stumble in your walk with God. Knowledge can be a good thing, and you shouldn't feel bad for having questions, but satan is using your questions to make you feel confused, and to make you feel bad for having questions.

Sometimes I look at things and think evolution could easily explain why those things are the way they are, and some people are able to believe in both evolution and God. Personally, though, I don't believe in evolution. I know that God made everything to have a purpose, and though we don't know what the purpose is, God does. We have "fangs"(canines) for shredding and tearing food.

You have questions, and it would be nice if Christians could just gently answer your questions instead of getting snarky with you, but this is Christianchat. People don't always know how to answer questions without getting snarky.

as you know Dane there is a spiritual battle going on in this very instant for your soul. Satan puts the seeds of doubt upon our minds... I know we hate to think of satan as being that close or in our heads but yup, there is a battlefield that we are unaware of. I will continue in prayer for you & HIGH 5 back atchya!!! You are catholic? (you mentioned priest) My husband grew up in the Catholic church but only recently after breaking away became filled with the Holy Spirit. I thank God for that church as it gave him his foundation of knowledge in Christ but they definitely do not promote any sort of personal relationship with the Lord or Gods word (at least not in his experience & he was an altar boy & his mom who knows NOT the Lord taught caticism). Start there... you are seeking knowledge so go to the word of God kjv & read... pray for understanding and knowledge of Christ until this time as the Lord softens your heart to truly receive of him. Also, perhaps try a few other Christian churchs... see what you see, pray to be led to the truth with an open heart & I'm certain the Lord will respond.

I don't want to lose my faith, but I'm tired of fighting my own logic all the time.. Don't really know what to do about it, except praying, which I am. -> and so far, nothing.
There are times when you're looking for God but He doesn't show Himself to you right away because of the way you're doing it. You're looking for God on your terms, not His. So He doesn't show Himself to you until you either a) stop looking or b) look for Him on His terms. In other words, you won't find God but He will find you (on His terms and at His time schedule).

I can't answer your other questions but I can give you something to think about that might help you figure out the answers to some of the questions.

You know, when little kids do something wrong, the common/average parent will get their child to apologize and say sorry. When they're told to do that, most kids hesitate. They may squirm, say no and give the parent a mischievous smile - you know, that sweet puppy-eyed face and hope to get away with it. Some may hide behind their parents' legs and so forth. At the end of the day, it's safe to say that they don't want to apologize and to acknowledge their wrong behaviour. We look at that and smile at their innocence. The truth is, adults are the same except adults simply ignore one another. We don't like admitting that we're wrong. It's truly an unpleasant experience! It can also be embarrassing especially if you're also asking for forgiveness! So we ignore the issue and both parties just ignore one another.

There's a religion that says in order to gain eternal salvation, you must admit that you're wrong, you've done wrong, you're doing wrong, and that you will do wrong (i.e. admit that you're a sinner). Then, you need to ask for forgiveness. Finally, in order to gain salvation, you're required to ask this invisible person to atone for your wrongdoings (sin). You can't see this person, you can't hear this person, you can't touch this person, you can't smell this person - in fact, this person died and was resurrected! How incredulous! No only that, it is commanded that you profess that you did all these things in public and usually that's in front of a bunch of strangers AND familiar people! This religion does not permit you to gain salvation through doing good works or deeds. The only way to gain salvation is to do all the above. It is embarrassing and humiliating!

When you look at the world religions, only one stands out and requires you to do anything remotely similar to what I just described. You know which one that is; it's Christianity. The Christian faith is the only one that requires total and complete humility that changes dependence on oneself (such as doing good works/deeds to gain salvation) to dependence on Jesus (asking Jesus for salvation). That is Christianity - all the other stuff, that's something else. At the basis of Christianity, this is it. It is the foundation upon which everything else is built.

I hope that gives you a better explanation of the Christian faith.

I wrote this in here, because the friends I've asked don't know what to answer, and I don't really feel comfortable seeing a priest that I don't know personally.

have been prayed a lot today, so highfive on that one!
Being a Christian means one thing---putting your faith and trust in Jesus and his work on the cross. I started my walk as a Christian believing in theistic evolution. Only years later did I decide that creation made sense. I didn't become more of a Christian. Deal with the greater things first--salvation, assurance, the presence of God in your life, reading and understanding the word, developing your prayer and worship time, letting the spirit live and the flesh die, etc. i will continure to pray for you. thanks for allowing me to share with you.

3. why did God give you a brain, dude just to waste it on stupid questions such as this , sorry but stupid questions deserves stupid answers, if nipples prove to you or whoever you got all these anti-god questions from that evoltution is real, then they prove that me that it is not real, cause evolution is that we are always improving, if there is no need for men to have nipples, then evolution messed up by letting us have them. and just because you don't know the purpose for men to have nipples does not mean there is not a purpose, just shows me that you don't know everything like you think you do.
There's the loving Keith that we all appreciate! It takes a big man to demand they are right.....or something like that....

Is this another example of you not being mad?

Quit praying for the answers to your question, and pray for Jesus to manifest Himself to you. In other words, ask Him to make Himself known to you, personally, right now, and tell you what He wants from you. And believe that He hears you in this.
