my dad was reading the bible and he wants to know what this chapter (Mathew 5:21-26) is trying to say? So, he has some question.

1. what are we suppose to do? do we go to the court or just sit in church and pray?
2. TODAY, what is the right way to clean our sin? the alter or going to justice?

Before you do anything else, pray. Ask the Lord to show you any wrongdoing on your part, and deal with that appropriately. Then ask Him for guidance on how to deal with the particular issue.

If you have a dispute with a fellow Christian, go to them personally and privately and try to work things out. Seek reconciliation for the sake of the Christian body. If they won't hear you, there are further directions in Matthew 18:15-17. Do everything in your power to avoid going to court against another believer, according to 1 Corinthians 6:6. Rather be wronged and trust the Lord to make it right.

If your dispute is with a non-Christian, follow the same principles. The only difference is that you may take an unbeliever to court... but you also can entrust the matter to the Lord.

Whatever you do, don't broadcast the issue. That only causes division and strife, and makes you look like a gossip.

I will just focus on this portion for the moment.

ANGER WITHOUT CAUSE = MURDER
21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

RECONCILIATION IS NECESSARY BEFORE WORSHIP
23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
