[h=1]Matthew 25:37-40 King James Version (KJV)[/h] [SUP]37 [/SUP]Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[SUP]38 [/SUP]When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
[SUP]39 [/SUP]Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[SUP]40 [/SUP]

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

[h=1]Matthew 25:37-40 International Children’s Bible (ICB)[/h]
[SUP] [/SUP]

[SUP]37 [/SUP]“Then the good people will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food? When did we see you thirsty and give you something to drink? [SUP]38 [/SUP]When did we see you alone and away from home and invite you into our house? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear?[SUP]39 [/SUP]When did we see you sick or in prison and care for you?’

[SUP]40 [/SUP]“Then the King will answer, ‘I tell you the truth. Anything you did for any of my people here, you also did for me.’

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

37-39 Often time we may not know when we are doing something for the Lord or may just be so reactionary to our life in Christ that we may not remember what we have done.

It is also likely that we do work in the Lord’s name but never truly understand how it will be used by Him.

There is going many chance have to help other in His name in this life we are to do this in His name and He will use it to do great things for His will.

40 It is often times the simplest acts of obedience that is used the most in His name, we show His love and share His mercy with others we help Him because that is what He wants to share with the world and thru us He still can today if we are willing to serve.

When you watch your spouse slowly dying in front of you, is bedridden, and you must clean him up after every accident, sit beside him and feed him tiny little bites of pureed food - then little ice cube after ice cube, the only way that helps you keep your peace is to see Jesus there. You must see Jesus as needing cleaning and changing, Jesus as needing hours of attention and then you truly understand why Jesus said what He did. You also experience the spiritual power and grace given you to do this work. When you see Jesus.

This lesson taught me to "reframe" anyone that I am called to serve in the future.

I had always served as being the Lord's hands and feet and voice. But now I will see Jesus in the one who needs my help.

We exhibit Christ more in the simple acts of kindness than in the highest falutent barrage of theological gar-bagé.
