This is to let everyone know that "Momy01" contacted me from within the group and I gave her my hotmail email address. She sent me a long letter and a (supposed) pic of herself and said her real name was "Mercy Mabu" from the Ivory Coast of Africa. She evidently need help in utilizing, disposing of, or securing the 5.3 million her now decease father left her.

doubtful anyone on cc would fall for such an obvious scam. part of the reason most don't give out emails, just stick to pms or live chats.

why didn't you just report the user to the admins?

don't really see that this is a bible discussion topic or the need to bump it.

The email was sent off of CC, therefore its not reportable. Only behavior that takes place on and can be recorded on CC can be dealt with by mods.

Also, Ariel, if people didn't fall for these scams, they wouldn't exist. But people fall for them all the time.
