My doctrine is complex as well:
John 3:16-17 and Romans 10:9-10.
For some reason worker bees fail to compute the exponents of God’s love and grace.
They do indeed .... find it very annoying if the truth be told.

John 5:24
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.…

Another great promise from our LORD...

"if they had stood in My council, Then they would have announced My words to My people, And would have turned them back from their evil way And from the evil of their deeds." - Jer 23:22

Without True Biblical Repentance, one has not overcome, and will not receive the promises of Rev 2 & 3.

It really is that simple! :)

They can't mate neither than can they name those who say it's ok to sin all we want.

They also ignore the following and I can't recall a response with I ask it.

1 Corinthians 3:9-15
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

For the first time ever today I went train spotting.

It was really easy. They are absolutely massive and make loads of noise.

Okay, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone to try and persuade you from a different angle. But I have to establish some pegs on our minds first.

When I woke this morning, the words free gift were on my mind. I have built a mountain of evidence that is certain, and many here including myself, give the words" free gift " power to try and knock that entire mountain down. Which by the way is the first rule in what not to do when interpreting scripture.

Anyway. Taking a Buick look at my New Strong's expanded, I'm getting a different take on the word free, and the word gift. Because when you put both words together " free gift " it gives our English translation that the gift is free, no work necessary to receive it.

Here are some definitions that I'm seeing.
1) abundant
2) magnanimous
3) nobility
4) make clean
5) innocent
6) to burst through
6) to open wide
7) to loosen
8) not a slave
9) unrestrain
10) exempt
12) liberate
13) spiritual endowment

Questions to you all?

Do the words " free and gift" accually appear together?
And does the word free in the Greek accually communicate something given without work and effort to receive it?

The work and effort being specifically.
1) Turning our life and will over to God daily.
2) believing that He has accepted the surrendered life and is maintaining it, sustaining it, and will complete it.
3) making decisions all day long, that support the fact that our lives are not ours anymore, but His now.
4) courage.
5) endurance.

Grace is a gift, unmerited favor. But give me some good reasons why Grace Is a " free gift ", none of that work and effort provided above is required. If this is so, you wouldn't even need to fulfill your understanding, which is " believe and recieve".

Okay let me have it!

What is free gift to you.
You seem to say he that Grace is a free gift.
If so why so?

Grace IS a free gift, bestowed upon us when we believe and have faith in Jesus.. :)
Show me, burdens on you. I figured you had a clip full of scripture to support the words " free and gift " being together in the same sentence. That's our first hurdle, if you want to discuss it that is.

Even your kitties know that.

My dogs know that.

Why is that?
Because we give them unconditional love.
We feed them, look after them we love them.
We even tell them off .

But we love them.

Are you saying God's grace is NOT free? That we have to earn it? Because that's just not true..

What part of "saved BY GRACE through faith" don't you comprehend??

Doesn't seem as if you read post 112012 well enough. Give it another try.
Your normal comeback.

I just asked you a question based on your post as to why grace is free because you did not say why.

I was rather hoping what you think free meant.
Asking not imposing like you do.

Should have known better.
Trying to open a closed door.

Should have taken my initial thoughts on the queue you came in with.

Okay, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone to try and persuade you from a different angle.
Oh well.

Give my question another try.

So all cats and dogs are saved and they don't need any work or effort to receive their food. They just believe the food is theirs and it is, don't have to accually consume it. Because that would take work and effort.
