As an unbeliever, being told to turn the other cheek would have gotten a response like “are you crazy?!”

But as a true believer I say, “Amen! Let the Lord’s will be done!”

It’s about loving the Lord, verses not loving the Lord; Not your “understanding”.

Luke 14:26
[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

But who gave you the authority to decide who needs to be taught and who doesn't? Did God tell you to knock people's views down until they get what you're claiming?

And yet, from the time you first was saved until now, there have been many truths as a part of your growth. Just because someone is on a website and interacts, does not mean they are the same growth level.
What’s your point? Are you defending someone who is actively being a tare on this thread?

I am not saying I agree with the poster you're debating with. In fact, I disagree on many levels. But I also see that poster is not in the same level of growth as I am. Big difference.

I have no authority. And can you quote where I said that I decide anything?

The Bible does.

I magnify the word of God.

Would you obey this verse?

Luke 6:29
[29] And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

If you have a mind to obey it, then you know you love the Lord:

John 14
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Did I say I saw anything wrong in what you have done? I just mentioned some things that could help understand why some posters don't get it.

Read the last five pages and get back to me.

I have! And what I see is someone feeling cornered by people who are supposed to be Family. Naturally, that poster is going to keep refusing your "truths," because they feel attacked. That's why it is important to ask God to correct them.

God can and does correct through people.

I read where this certain poster misused "fruits of the Spirit" when it specifically is discussing false teachers. And I believe this poster knows they are wrong. But nothing I or you can do to make that poster conceive they are wrong on this forum. But if we give it to God, He will correct that poster.

Sometimes the nature of this communication can vaguely project the posters intent.

It’s all good, and welcome to the site! :)

Thank You! I am only trying to help us get along here. I don't think any of us learn when we are feeling like it is being forced upon us. I know I sure don't, even when I know i am wrong.

How would you know that you are at a higher level than said poster?

Can you show me there post where they were wrong?...the misuse of the fruit of the Holy Spirit?

2 Timothy 4
[2] Preach the word; be ready in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

If you saw someone about to walk in the path of a moving vehicle, would you not force them away from that path to save them? ;)
