For me, I am grateful that God allows us to recognize personal sin in our neighbors; it is a great opportunity for me to realize the sin within myself. I am also glad that I am not responsible for making sure my neighbor does not sin. Because I am not called to be a judge, I am in the unique position to love and provide support for those who want someone to hold them accountable. I get to be a witness of the sanctification process that God is working through my neighbors.

I discovered other people’s prideful, selfish behavior can be very painful to me, when there selfishness is directed at me.

Inevitably, it forced me to take a close look at me own life and begin to repent of my own prideful, selfish behavior.
