hmmm interesting well it must happen and the time is at hand so these things must come to past, all the denominations gonna fall in one accord with the catholic church, they already have their dogmas and not many realize it, that's how accurate the bible is, everything in the spiritual is manifested in the natural

[h=3]Revelation 17:5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

…In 1999 the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant Lutheran Church signed an agreement that brought an end to the protest. Luther believed that we were saved by grace through faith, alone… The Catholic Church believed that we were saved by works. And that was the protest. In 1999 they wrote this together… I’m reading verbatim from the Catholic Vatican website: ‘Justification means that Christ Himself is our righteousness in which we share through the Holy Spirit in accord with the will of the Father. Together, we, Catholics and Protestants – Lutherans – believe and confess that by grace alone in faith in Christ’s saving works, and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, Who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works.’ (applause from the audience). Brothers and sisters, Luther’s protest is over; is yours?”

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12 KJV

Since Vatican II the Catholic Church has sought to reconcile with all believers and to no longer condemn others that do not submit to the authority of the Pope. Those opposed to the Catholic Church complained when they condemn others and now they complain because they no longer condemn anyone, but seek peace with all separated believers and non-believers alike. This desire to have peace with all humanity by the Catholic Church is not against the will of God, but is an act of repentance by the Catholic Church for its many centuries of disobedience to God. Christians are called to love one another and love their enemies also. Fundamentalist Christians do not desire peace with humanity, but condemn all who refuse to accept their interpretation of God, and view all who seek world peace as being evil. I believe they have a distorted view of how Christians are suppose to live in this world. They desire to judge and condemn the world for not accepting their interpretation of God, when Jesus told us to not judge and condemn others, but to seek peace with all humanity. It is by our expression of peace and love toward all humanity that reveals Jesus Christ in truth.
May we all love one another and no longer judge and condemn others, lest we be judged and condemned by God.

If the Catholic church actually repented it would retract it's stance at the Council of Trent where it spewed out one anathema after another againt the protestants...but they wont...so you can't say they have repented.

only way some of them can be saved is if God calls them, they don't even believe in the bible or the holy spirit, so how can they get saved :( spoke to a catholic person the other day i didn't even know that is what they believe i was actually quite surprised but he told me they don't believe in the bible then i said but the holy spirit wrote the bible then he said nope it's a man made thing not gonna believe in that, then he said he believe in God but not that, and wouldn't make sense to just discuss some people's mind already made up and the things of God is a complete mystery to the carnal mind so gotta remember that too, i really wish some would listen though

That is anathema to the Catholic belief. We recognize Scripture as THE Inspired, Infallible Word of God. Your friend is either mistaken or ignorant of the Church's teaching.

I say that they have repented and no longer condemn Protestants, or any faith tradition for that matter. That you do not accept their apology or repentance is understandable in light of the horrific history of the Roman Church. Perhaps the Catholic Church does not deserve forgiveness, but I do know they are asking both God and humanity for forgiveness and no longer proclaim anathemas on anyone.

Christ be be with you always.

In order to defeat death as a people we must be one (unite). Under what authority are we to unite under is what we need to focus on. When this economy falls, it will be the first event in human history that will touch every man woman and child on this planet! This is the moment when the wheat will be separated from the tares. As it is written, Michael will stand and there will be war in heaven! The power of the children of the flesh will taken away from them, and the children of the Spirit will cast down every imagination that holds captive the minds of men!

In my way of thinking it would be best NOT to get merged into a monolithic church system that may very well turn into the beast system (I'm not implying any particular denomination here).Think about it...if antichrist wanted to claim authority over all Christians wouldn't it be easer if all the religious systems combined under one leadership beforehand? Diversity makes takeover much more difficult.

They are both in error, so uniting wouldn't bring about anything good. Ecumenism equals comprimising. There can't be two truths, there is only one...and neither of these groups posses that truth sadly. The Pope preaches Catholic doctrine, and Copeland preaches the harmful prosperity gospel. I'm not sure which one is worse...

I'm not talking about church, but a realization and the expansion of our consciousness through the love of just simply being there for one another. It will no longer be about who is a Christian and what type or a Muslim as these things are about money. It will be about helping one another surviving the fallout that will arise from the world-wide economic crash hits.

Satan's kingdom is now and it is organized by a divide and conquer method. Without it this way, no one can get rich.

They still hold to the articles found in the Council of Trent. Their ecumenical move is nothing but a chameleon changing it's color...still a chameleon.

what good is peace on earth if people end up in hell? ooops, maybe we should brush that concept under the pew lest we cause division?

I am ignorant of the Charismatic church and Copeland. Can someone explain (in simple terms) why the unity of the Catholic church and the Charismatics is a sign?

Well, I would say that the end run will be ecumenical unification of so called Christian Entities under one banner!

+

Not to mention that the last two Popes bowed to the Koran!

=World wide religious unification!
