Okay on election day I went into the voting booth unprepared...my younger brother was voting for the first time...I sat there praying about who to vote for...

Honestly, from what I saw of McCain a lot of his answers and attitudes seemed spiritually sketchy to me, or "off" if you want to word it that way...for example the way he talked on 20/20? about taking a girl home from a club and the wicked grin he had on his face.

And then Obama...I did not want as many abortions that happen under his authority being placed on my head...

So I sat there thinking and praying as my brother grew impatient..as he was done and had to wait while I stood there with a pencil not knowing who the Lord wanted me to vote for...

In a since, I did feel the Lord was going to choose Obama...Not even following the polls, just spiritually looking at the situation it seemed Obama would become president...

And I did see some promise in Obama...not just for the poor, but when He said he would fight day and night to improve and better our nation--I believed him...and I don't see how anyone could have seen him as lying...other than these "issues" that he has hardened his heart on, like most of the "liberal democratic" party (not that republicans don't have other evils that they associate more closely with, like greed), I honestly did and still believe that politically he would fight for what is best for the country, though ethically he still has many dilemmas to overcome, may we pray he change, repent, and see the truth...

See I believe in big government in the sense that I believe it is the governements responsibility to make sure greedy capitalistic corporations give the poor and low-rage workers an honest wage...but I also believe in almost all the ethics of the republican party minus greed..

So I think a lot of the evils come from this horrific two party system we have that says, 'against abortion=republican, accept all other evil stances of the party" , "democrat=help the poor, condemn babies, accept homos, accept this and all other necessary evils of the party"...because truly none of them are necessary evils, its the blindness and rediculuosness of parties being supported/funded by sooo many awful social organizations; and no soul running for office being strong enough to stand up for whats right...

Psalm 93
Who will rise up for me against the wicked, who will take a stand for me against evil doers?

It is only when this lie of necessary evils happens, like satan intertwining good and evil together and saying in order to get the good of the party you must sin in some other way on issues that are clearly wrong, that complicated evils enter our government...

And one more thing...No Christian should pray for anything less than Obama become a "great Christian leader" of our nation--we are to hope and pray that he changes, but that he leads with wisdom (which I think he has and had much more than McCain) and the the Holy Spirit would convict him where he is wrong, and strenghten him so he can stand against the evils of the Democratic party, and the world...Nobody will be helped if he or his plans fail...it is us the people that will get hurt. He will still live in a white house, and be the millionaire he is after serving...

God bless

I forgot to conclude that I left the presidential selection ballot blank. After about 15 more minutes of praying...I asked the lady if I could, she ran it through the machine...and it accepted voting for no vote on President..strange but me...lol

I think Obama has more of a chance of becoming a true born again Christian than most of our previous presedents because he is not a freemason, your thoughts?

Could this possibly be the first time I've heard anyone not say a US president (or other well known figure) is NOT a freemason? Lol.

I have no hope or trust in our current government. I don't trust the politicians in power to put America ahead of their own ambition.

I hope we will send modest and decent men to Washington again some day.
