Matthew 23:13
[ Seven Woes on the Teachers of the Law and the Pharisees ] “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
Matthew 23:15
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
Matthew 23:23
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

Well maybe JustAmazied can send me a PM and explain it to me ...
Lol, I just posted it. In short if Paul knew 99% of the truth, that still leaves 1% in the dark which leads to error. That goes for us all as we were given the gift of faith by measure. Only Christ has it without measure. That is why the greatest gift of a prophet is love! Without it, whatever is said is just like loud irritating music in your ears.

Matthew 23:25
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
Matthew 23:26
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
Matthew 23:29
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous.

A partial prophecy can be 100% accurate I would think. God only revealing what God wants to reveal does not make a prophesy erroneous it just makes it partial and that is of course God's decision. However the fullness of the prophecy if it is from God whatever part you have will be 100% accurate when tested. My opinion of course. God is infallible ya know.

Matthew 7
I Never Knew You

21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

This one came to mind...

1 Thess 5:20: "Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good"

So really, no one loses out, because we're to test all things anyway.

God uses all of us. The Holy Spirit works through us and can often use us to communicate a message to someone else, say, in their time of need when they needed to hear a scripture to pick them up, or it could be the Holy Spirit gives us words to speak to another in answer to a question they prayed about.

God reveals truth to us in a supernatural way, even if it be something we were pondering over that He then answers... nuggets of wisdom on something. All Christians with the Holy Spirit dwelling in them are part of the body of Christ, with different spiritual gifts and God can choose to give us more gifts and use us in different ways.

We should always use discernment.... compare everything with the word of God.

There was a sound pastor that was the guest speaker on a show recently. God gave him several dreams about 20 years ago in which headlines were revealed to him. Many of these headlines have become recent news and there are several more that may or may not come true... one of which mentioned martial law. Another christian had a vision of NY going up in flames.

Again, these prophecies do not affect us in our walk with Christ. If they happen then they happen, we just hold fast what is good.

Yes, as katy did say, we are to discern, this, too, is a spiritual gift, if you read 1 Cor. 12 it's in plain, white background, black text of any bible you read, well, any bible with those TWO colors :D

God says He helped people see Him in many ways, and, to disclude prophesying used to show others 'truth' and believing in Him, who AM I to say that God does not do that 'gift' way of doing things.

I think it's a travesty for some, they could be used by God but are not because they don't believe in the gifts which are by faith. It's not a degradement of their salvation, or, not a , let me say this better, not discluding them from salvation, but it IS keeping them from increasing their faith.

God WANTS To increase our faith, per 1 Cor. 3, and, we do it by planting and watering, which is WORK !! We WILL TOIL ! But, He will make it all good and the greatest way He makes our 'work' good is by giving us further assurance and peace of our salvation that we are obtaining through following Jesus Christ' will in our life. Right? And, no, this is NOT speaking of losing your salvation, please, I am not saying that, let's leave that out of this, please. I AM just saying that He tells us that we are saved by grace through faith and that, in and of itself, tells us that we doing things through His gift of eternal life that is unto us who believe in Him :)

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ

just more proof you don't know what God's will is.
you don't have any idea what our commission is.
nothing.

you like tv stuff and shiny objects and outlandish claims.

anything else God has no use for.

you know...the travesty that Charles Spurgeon lacked faith in falling over backwards and so was not used of God.
poor Charles...all that cold dead orthodoxy - frozen chosen never used of God.

why i even enter these discussions with you green is beyond me.

do you remember the things you say from one post to the next.

You get rid of the money, you get rid of ALL evil! But it shows the evil in our own hearts seeing that we have enough for all, but you and most here can care less.

This world is pathetic.
That's a bit like saying we should get rid of sex because people commit adultery

If you get rid of money there will still be sin in the world and the enemy is still here. Money did not cause sin.

We live in a fallen world because of sin. People do get greedy and use money to commit evil and view money as an idol, because mankind is sinful and loves the ways of the world. A piece of them is missing, a piece that can only be filled by God. Instead, they try to fill it with other things, like a new house or new car, but these things don't make them content and tomorrow they just need something else. That missing piece is designed to only be filled by God. Only then can one be truly content.

I once bought a homeless man some lunch, so how did my money get used for evil?

As a matter of fact yes:
  1. I had a vision of myself preaching behind the pulpit...... happened on three separate occasions, the same vision every time. I was wearing gold rimmed glasses and a brown leisure suit.
  2. Through the years I have prayed for numerous people, during which I specifically prayed about certain issues in their lives that no one told me about. Several people have told me afterwards that I read their mail.
  3. It's happened many times during a sermon I would seemingly steer off topic for a few moments and then go right back to the sermon. After the service while shaking hands, some folks would tell me about the things I spoke about and said that I ministered distinctly unto them.
