God may extend a person's life only for that person to be a vegetable in a nursing home, Yeah,...it's always God's will to see His children in a state of suffering. NOT! I wouldn't call that "simple grace", more like punishment. God would only extend a person's years IF He had a good reason to do so. Suffering in a nursing home is not a reason to prolong suffering. Don't you know His CHARACTER???? He will extend someone's years if He has something for them to do, something they have not completed and on occassion, if they ask him to as in Hezekiah's life (2 Kings 20) God could extend a life and also confine that person to sucking their meals through a straw for 5 to 10 years. Right...that's just what a loving Father does to His kids. Are you for real? Do you KNOW Jesus at all??

I hope what you wrote was just you not really thinking before you typed it all out because it saddens me to think that one who calls Christ, "Lord" views Him is such a light.

Maggie my point was to address your idea that the extension of one's life past 80 years is a good thing and "God's grace". Or are you naive to think that there are no Christians suffering in nursing homes past 90 years old? In that case "God's grace" is merely prolonging their suffering.

Besides, your view doesn't allow for the fact that God may take a righteous person away from evil i.e. by death, bring them home early..

People perish and/or suffer for lack of knowledge. This is reiterated FIVE times throughout scripture. Christians do no understand the spiritual realm, generational curses, or their authority over what satan throws at them. So yes, there are Christians, all over the world, that suffer in old age.

You said that God extends a person's life due to His "simple grace". You also said it's not God's will to see His children suffering. Yet this extension of life usually involves additional suffering. How do you explain ? Or do you believe that satan and generational curses may extend a person's life for the purpose of creating suffering?
Your beliefs seem a bit wishy-washy on this topic.
