As for communion with Jesus Christ. It is true His body, the unleavened bread from heaven, is His teaching as guided by the HOly Spirit. This is evident from study of the Word. His Blood is life, His life, and when we do our utmost to follow His perfect example for us, we share in His life................thus Learning from Jesus Christt and living as did He is true communion with Him....The would be 24/7

The sacrifices under the law and the institution of the Passover look forward to a SINLESS, PERFECT offering before God and without a doubt JESUS was tempted in ALL points as we are tempted but without SIN....as NEW Covenant believer when I look back to the cross what do I see.....

I see the SINLESS SON of GOD TAKING my SIN upon HIMSELF and becoming SIN for me....

Do tell.....

ALL who hang on a tree are CURSED.....why was JESUS CURSED, HUNG on a TREE and had to cry MY GOD, MY GOD why hast thou FORSAKEN ME?

My previous post, the one to which you seem to refer here is not accusing you of saying Jesus Christ sinned.

It is, however, as I have indicated, pointing out that for the bread to have been leavened at the las supper (seder) that would have been breaking the laws directing the observance of Passover.

This is sharing understanding, not accusing you.

Jesus Christ declared He is the Bread from heaven, and this is also so fitting because He came to us in Bethlehm. Bethlehem may be translated to English as the House of Bread...........quite appropriate, amen.

The sacrifices under the law and the institution of the Passover look forward to a SINLESS, PERFECT offering before God and without a doubt JESUS was tempted in ALL points as we are tempted but without SIN....as NEW Covenant believer when I look back to the cross what do I see.....

PS.....if the word for the bread in Greek is leavened bread for the Passover Jesus was celebrating, it is a glaring example of how deficient translations can be.

If I may....The unleavened bread Jesus used was prepared a certain way.
Jesus used this time to explain what the bread represented as most of the apostles were Jewish but had no idea why the bread was prepared a certain way.

The bread was not only unlearned but had strips that were burned on it, it also had holes poked in it. It was wrapped in a napkin and hidden from view. (Can you get the picture).
When it is offered it is broken and shared.
What Jesus did was show his followers the shadow of the Passover was about him.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And byHis stripes we are healed.

I don't think so....hence the OP.....many things have changed from the old to the new.....such as..

Circumcision in the O.T. as an IDENTIFIER is IMMERSION in the N.T.
Bound under the Law in the O.T. is Bound under Grace in the N.T.
Killing and offering Animals under the O.T. is Fulfilled in Christ in the N.T.
Only worshipping in Jerusalem in the O.T. is now available world wide in churches in the N.T.

Over and over again we see a change made under the New Covenant....and that is the point of the OP

O.T.-->looks forward to a sinless sacrifice->JESUS<--N.T. Looks back <--to HIM becoming SIN for US on the tree

It's amazing how the cleaver decorative innovations of modern bakers have become solid historical "facts."

I imagine their unleavened bread prob looked a lot like a thick flour tortilla...not a mahtzo cracker.

But, I don't think it matters what it looks like, as long as it's unleavened...
