Where in the bible does it say not to show your nakedness to someone who is not your spouse? (I can't find it)

There is this guy who keeps asking me to send him pictures of myself. I keep telling him no, but he won't leave me alone about it. I want to send him the verse about it so he will hopefully stop.

In the book of Leviticus chapter 18 is about sexual sins, and it will give you all you need to know about a persons nakedness

I was thinking of that one. But there is another one someone, cause my friend and I were discussing this and he quoted it. I just can't remember the whole thing. (he also didn't say what verse it was)
But thank you much, I'm hoping he stops soon.

Hrm...

Well, for one thing, this guy is an obvious creep. If you've repeatedly said no and he's still asking for nude pictures of you, then you probably ought to cut off relations with him if possible. And maybe even report him to the police, because that is definitely sexual harassment.

Second thing is, there is no Biblical passage that condemns nudity outright. Now there are multiple passages that condemn exposing the nudity of others (which is often used as a euphemism for having sexual intercourse). This is the case in the aforementioned Leviticus 18. So, there is no Biblical passage condemning posing nude voluntarily--however it's obvious that you don't WANT to, and this guy needs to respect that.

Well, I would deffiantely have to agree that he's a creep. I'm cut him off many times, and he keeps coming back.. Plus, I don't think I can report him to the police cause he lives in a different country.
And thank you. I really appriciate the help

Oh, I've also noticed that your profile says that you're seventeen!

That means that if you made a nude picture of yourself, you could be arrested for producing child pornography and he could be arrested for possessing it. That, if nothing else, ought to scare him away.

I think that would work too.. Cause he's over 18.. But I'm also turning 18 in 18 days.. And I'm sure he'll start again.. BUT FOR NOW!! Must scare him!

if it is on your phone, just dont answer or don't open up ant txt from just delete them without openning it, if it is by email , SPAM him, it can be done unless you want a reason to give him what he want without conviction. resist the devil and he will flee from you. and yes I agree; there is no scriptures that talk about getting naked, uncovering someone nakedness is having sex with them..... even when God is talking about Isreal uncovering the their nakedness with other nations. it is intimacy in a deep way that no one but your husband is suppose to know about you. for no one is to know Isreal like God did..... do oyu get it now?

I got it. I'm just trying to get him to understand why I don't want to send him pictures (and why I think it's wrong).. But this guy just doens't seem to want to take no for an answer..

and, can I quote you?

"it is intimacy in a deep way that no one but your husband is suppose to know about you"
^ i would like to say that to him.. (not that it will do any good... )

To the lead question: Why would you even want to do that, except for some required physcial exam in order to get a job? Abraham's son, Ham was punished for seeing his father naked and not covering him up, and therefore mocking Abraham in his drunken sin. It was not sin for Abe to be naked, but it was sin for Ham to disrepect his father. THere is also indication that 'seeing' his nakedness was not the only thing that happened...scripture is not specific...but that Ham possibly sodomized his drunken father.

What? 17's not child porn. I don't know whether or not it's legal for 17 year olds to be in porn, but child porn it is not (unless it's one of those 'strange in fact but true in law' things).

to MaggieMye: I never said I wanted to. He keeps asking me to send nude pictures simply because he wants to masturbate to them.. I've told him no. That I wasn't going to because I think it's wrong and degrading. However, he won't take no for an answer. I would block him if I could figure out how to do that, but seeing as I'm not the best with technology, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

to Maddog: If anyone under the age of 18 appears in a porn video/ pornographic picture/ etc., it's considered child porn. Doesn't matter if they're 17, it's still child porn. (I heard about this on the news one night)

Well you don't need me to tell you that it would be wrong to send him such pictures. Not only for your sake, but also for his, since you know he will be using them to commit an evil act.

Weird. To me it makes no sense whatsoever to bring the same charges against someone for possessing indecent images of a 17 year old as they would for someone with images of a 10 year year old.

What's the age of consent where you are?

As far as I know it's 18. I don't know of any other age of consent.

Oh okay. Over here it's 16. Even so, there's nothing inherently disordered about fancying 14, 15, 16, 17 year olds. Hopefully the criminal justice system takes that into account, even it does happen to fall under the same technical category as 'child porn'.

There's nothing wrong with fancying 14, 15, 16, or 17 year olds... but when you're 22 and trying to get a 17 your old girl to send nude pictures to you, there's something wrong.

Ethically wrong, yes, but not necessarily perverse.

To solve your problem you should just send your pictures to me instead. For erm...safe keeping.

But that would actually require me to take pictures... lol
