when God casts the devil and all his followers into the brimstone pit, what happens? do they burn and suffer for internity? or do they become of nothing, as if they cease to exist? (or something else)

now please consider before you blurt out saying what end your on, please have biblical evidence(if possible) and solid sugestions and ideas. I rather not waste my time reading over pointless comments :p
also keep the disscusion civil (in other words do go bad mouthing others comments)
