The real meaning of friendship is one who is:

1. Always understanding and will always care and be there for you even during the worst times in your life especially when everyone else turns their back on you and walks away. This also means that a real friend will always be there for you and support you even if everyone else abandons you.

2. Always honest and will never lie to you and will always keep their promises.
3. Always helps you out and someone you can always depend on especially in a time of need.
4. Will always stand up for what is right no matter what anyone else thinks or says.
5. Always open minded and open hearted and will always listen to you.
6. Accepts you, respects you, and appreciates you for the person you are on the inside and will always be a friend to you no matter what other people say or think. Real beauty of a person is determined only by what is on the inside rather than the outside.
7. A person who is beautiful on the inside is very attractive no matter what they look like on the outside. A person who is beautiful on the inside is one who has a wonderful heart and who fits the all of the above criteria. Your looks, gender, race, color, national origin, religion, beliefs, cultural background, disability, etc. does not matter to a real friend because a real friend will always accept, appreciate, and respect you as you are.

We don't get many real friends in our lives. We find this out the hard way. Thank God for true friends.
