Now the Israel spoken of in Acts 5:31 to whom their Saviour gives them repentance, its not national physical Israel, but a Spiritual Israel Chosen in Christ, and it includes some Gentiles Acts 11:18

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Israel the Spiritual Seed of Abraham and of Christ has Gentiles in it!

Also the word granted in Acts 11:18 and the word give in Acts 5:31 are the same greek word didōmi. 3

Thayer's Greek Lexicon concerning Acts 5:31:

6. δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect; and a. the act or effect of him who gives, in such a sense that what he is said διδόναι (either absolutely or with the dative of person) he is conceived of as effecting, or as becoming its author.
...
or b. the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given: διδόναι τίνι μετάνοιαν, to cause him to repent, Acts 5:31; Acts 11:18; γνῶσινσωτηρίας,Luke 1:77; ἐλπίδα τίνι, 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

In Acts 5:31, the word [ didómi ] is a verb, active voice.

There are three voices in Greek: active, passive and middle. The voice shows the direction of the action.
Active voice indicates that the subject carries out the action. It originates from the subject.
So who is the subject ?

You won't answer a simple question.
I gave the answer ...

According to Thayer's, δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect. As used in Acts 5:31, the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given.

Jesus Christ then Saviour/Prince give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Who is doing the giving here ? What is being given and who ws the recipient of the giving according to this verse ?

The issue is what is done with that which is given.

Acts 5:

26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

What did the council do with the information given to them?

Acts 5:33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

Clearly, the council rejected that which was offered. God allows men to reject Him. However, God states clearly in Ezekiel 33:11 that He would prefer that the wicked turn from their evil ways and be saved:

... As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live ...

So one of the characteristics of God given Repentance is that it leads to an acknowledgement of the Truth as it is in Christ Jesus opposed to false doctrines sown by the devil and his servants 2 Tim 2:25-26

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Believing false doctrine and lies is a snare of the devil, only God can deliver us from ! 27b

As stated, repentance is a Gift from the Saviour. Now to be more specific, how is it applied to them its given to as a Gift, namely Gods Elect ? Peter tells us here 1 Pet 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

All for whom Christ died, by His Resurrection from the Dead, they shall be begotten again ! These words begotten again are in the greek anagennaó and means:

I beget again, beget into a new life.

to produce again, beget again, beget anew; metaphorically: τινα, thoroughly to change the mind of one, so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God

Notice that it changes the mind of one, this being begotten again. Now what is repentance ? Its the greek word metanoia and means:

repentance, a change of mind, change in the inner man.

So this repentance that is given by and through the resurrection of Christ, being begotten again, effects a change of mind, which what primarily what repentance entails. It gives also change in the inner man.

And so repentance is confirmed to be the Gift of Christ through His resurrection from the dead, and its given to all for whom He died as their Saviour ! 34c

That you do not like the answer does not equal "evasion and rabbit trail".

I have shown you that δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect. As used in Acts 5:31, the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given.

You refuse to acknowledge that God allows mankind to reject Him, yet God clearly states in Ez 33:11 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways.

Please note that God says the wicked is to turn from his way and live. God does not say that He turns the wicked.

The words "hath begotten again" are translated from the Greek word anagennáō, from 303 /aná, "up, again," which intensifies 1080 /gennáō, "give birth") – properly, born-again or "born from on high."

Have you ever studied the "new man" in Scripture?

Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Colossians 3:9-10 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him

The "change of mind" which takes place in the born again believer is brought about as the believer puts off the "old man" and puts on the "new man".

God provides that which the believer needs to have this "change of mind" which God has given. The "change of mind" requires some input by the believer as he or she "puts off the old man" and "puts on the new man".

The believer can be born again and yet continue to walk in the "old man". The believer must "put off" the old and "put on" the new.

Since you "already know what begotten again means !", do you "put off the old man" and "put on the new man" as instructed in Eph 4:22-24 in order to live in light of that "change of mind"?

Ephesians 4:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The believer who continues to live in light of who he/she was in Adam (old man) does not fully experience that change of mind you spoke of in your Post #330.

Repentance in the matter of Gospel Preaching !

Repentance in the matter of Gospel message is a Salvation Gift, its an Spiritual act that can be performed only by the Spiritual man or woman, the natural man in the state of nature cant perform it, neither is called to perform it. Remember John the Baptist told the hard hearted Pharisees that came to him while performing the baptism of repentance ? Notice his words TO THEM Matt 3:7-9

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

However, Jesus teaches this Matt 7:18

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Repentance toward God Acts 20:2141

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thats a Good Fruit, and such that are left in nature cant bring it forth, simply because the natural man is evil and corrupt !

Thats right those in the flesh, the natural man, cant please God Rom 8:8

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Simply stated the unregenerate cant please God !

Scripture that confirms that Jesus Christ as Saviour gives His People repentance, by blessing them and turning them from their sins Acts 3:25-26

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. 44
