Well I guess we just disagree then.
Too bad you disagree with the Truth Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Give repentance, not offer !

Yep give. I agree with that.
The problem with give is that folks can reject a gift, and often do.

"Repentance is the Gift Of God !"

No. Repentance is man's response to the Gift of God.

Repentance is the response of man to God's gracious offer of Salvation. Choose this day who you will serve (God or Calvin.)

John
3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Thats humanistic thinking. One to whom God gives repentance, it causes them to repent. It cant be rejected
A whole town rejected Jesus even though he was there preaching and teaching, band doing miraculous stuff.
They rejected Jesus

They weren't given repentance.
It is not up to us to decide whether the word gift applies or doesn't apply to repentance, it is up to us to decide if we want to repent, for the Lord gives us free will. The Lord is eternal, so the Lord knows before we do which way we will decide, but we are free to make that decision.

Sorry, God gives repentance, its an Sovereign administration Heb 8:10

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Heb 10:16

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Ezk 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Riiiiight, he was there for some other reason. Maybe vacation, or a highschool reunion.
He gives Repentance to His Elect, Israel, not all without exception Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And Israel here includes some Gentiles who are Elect Acts 11:18

I read how God dealt with Pharaoh to understand the meaning. But I do believe it is connected to the depravity of mind.
It would hardly be worth hardening a person if they already born that way . Or if ' eternal reprobation ' was true .

Yes Israel in the yet future . Laws and statutes? ISRAEL? No one teaching them to ' know the Lord ' . Does any of that sound like salvation today ? All Gentiles have now been granted repentance. Praise God they don't need to become a proselyte today. Every Gentile can come because repentance to life has been granted to them .

The words' Sovereign administration " are not in Heb 8:10 . Why are you adding to scripture, again ?

Acts 11 . Gentiles, so anyone who is a gentile has been granted repentence. Praise God we were granted repentence. Other wise we would still have to become a prosyelte , praise God for breaking down that Middle Wall.

There is no verse that says we get a new fleshy heart and a removal of a stony heart . This is language specifically for ISRAEL. why do I say this ? Because that s what the verses SAY .

So your salvation is down to you, you chose.

What good thing dwelled in you, that is in your flesh, that you should choose to believe where others did not choose? you must be better than they.
The same way in which the bereans and Cornelius approached things .

As it is with Gospel Faith, so it is with Gospel Repentance, its not of man, but the Gift of the Saviour. Jesus told His sent Messengers that Repentance and Remission of sins are to be preached in His Name Lk 24:46-47

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

That they should be preached in His Name means they are products , effects of His Person and Work, His suffering and death and resurrection.

He was raised from the dead a Prince and a Saviour in order to give repentance and remission of sins Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

The word give[ didómi ] here means to bestow as a Gift

Its a word that denotes causative results, it means to bring forth, for instance how the word is used here Matt 13:8

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

James 5:18

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

So Christ as a Risen Saviour brings about and effects repentance upon them Hes a Saviour unto, those He suffered and died for, mainly the Elect of God amongst all Nations !

Christ isnt ones Saviour if He doesnt give them Repentance ! 1c
Acts 11
18¶When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Repentance belongs to the Work of Jesus Christ, its the fruit of His redeeming death/blood.
Which verse says this ? . God has given to both Jews and Gentiles . Problem solved . All may come .This is the good news .
