Each is entitled to their own opinion, but this is all it is; you opinion. Scripture does not support the sun, moon, or earth being created in Gods image IMO. The ONLY time Scripture supports such is when God said "let US create MAN in OUR image." Right?

What is this "image?" Well, God is a Triune God, and man is a Triune being......... The Apostle Paul taught this when he spoke of the body, soul and spirit of man.

I would caution "adding to" Scripture......
Colossians 1:16-17
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Colossians 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

If all things consist by him and through the blood of his cross, and he reconciles all things unto himself, then it is by the Spirit, water, and the blood, that all things consist by him.It will be in all of his creations.Seen and unseen.
The heavens testify of him.All the stars in the universe operate in his universal Law.

The simplest interpretation of this "woman" in the context of this chapter is that she represents believing Israel, which will consist of people from all twelve tribes (represented by the stars). The "man child" is Christ Himself. During the reign of the Antichrist the believing remnant of Israel will be persecuted by Satan, and will therefore find refuge in the wilderness. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The references to 1,260 days and time, times, and half a time (v 14) are related to the 3 1/2 year reign of the Antichrist.
When the Woman flees into the wilderness this is the time when the 144,000 give the testimony of The Two Witnesses.

Thanks Lifted_By_the_Word for your comments. Rev 12:1 is one of my favorite scriptures. I see the sun as being a picture of Christ. We read about that in Psalm 19: "In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race." Jesus is the bridegroom in the Bible and the sun, being the light of the world, is a good picture of him. The woman is clothed with the sun in Rev 12:1, and so, she is a picture of the true believers. The true believers are clothed with Christ, because their own righteousness would not clothe them. We read:"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." So, the sun is a picture of Christ, the woman clothed with the sun is a picture of the true believers, and the moon is left. The moon is a picture of the law of God, of his ordinances. We read about the moon in Jeremiah 31: "
Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night," However, if the moon is a picture of God's ordinances, the law of God, why is the moon under the true believers' feet in Rev 12. In my opinion, this is because the true believers have gotten victory of the penalty of the law. The wages of sin is death, says the law, but despite this, the woman has gotten victory over death. So, the law is under her feet, so to speak.
Additionally, we might spend two seconds on why the true believers are pictured as a woman. First of all, the true believers are betrothed to Christ. He is the bridegroom and we are the bride. Secondly, the true believers are part of the Jerusalem that is above. We are told in Galatians that she is our mother.
Me too.You see it in Josephs dream.Jacob, the father of the patriarchs, and God the father of us.Jesus filled with his Spirit is clothed with the Sun.The woman before she goes into the wilderness is the first fruits.

The woman does have the victory over death so I included the verse about the woman and the serpent. The Law being under her feet
means she walks in Gods ways, his covenants. All who don't are trampled under her heel.
