Zechariah 14:1-12 below shows the Lords return to earth in fire in final judgement.
(Verse 1) shows "The Day Of The Lord" also seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "Fire Judgement" below
(Verse 2) Shows that all nations are gathered for the final battle of armageddon.
(Verses 3-5) shows the Lords return, and his eternal feet touch down on the earthly Mt, of Olives, and in the "Twinkling Of An Eye" 1 Cor 15:52 takes place, in the catching up, resurrection, final judgement by fire, and the New Heavens, Earth, and Jerusalem being revealed for eternity, judgement complete, eternity begins.
(Verses 6-7) Eternal light seen, in the eternal kingdom, Rev 22:1-5
(Verse 8) The river of life is seen, Rev 22:1-5
(Verse 10) The New creation is being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

"And like the lion after his attack withdraws to his den, so the Lord would withdraw from them, leave them and return to His place, waiting till their repentance comes and they seek Him early in their affliction.
"The last verse of this chapter has a wider meaning than the past judgment which came upon the house of Israel. The Lord of glory came to earth and visited His people. He came with the message and offer of the kingdom to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He came unto His own, but His own received Him not. After they had rejected Him, delivered Him into the hands of the Gentiles to be crucified, He returned to His place. There He is now at the right hand of God, waiting for that day, when the remnant of Israel will repent and seek His face Acts 3:19-26. This happens after the saints are resurrected to heaven, and after the battle of Armageddon on earth when the beast and the world go against Jerusalem, the Jews, and Jesus comes back with the saints and defeats the world, and saves Israel, which all Jews will be back on their land by way of the peace treaty in the Middle East.
Satan is bound and put in the bottomless pit, and then Jesus and the saints shall rule over the people that God spared at the battle of Armageddon, and there is then peace on earth for Satan is not deceiving the people.
Jesus said that not one tittle or jot shall pass from the law until all is fulfilled, which includes the roles of Israel in the nation.
Which Jesus has not fulfilled the role of perfect King which must be done on earth, and when Jesus rules for 1000 years on earth then this heaven and earth shall pass away, and the saints will be at a new heaven, and earth, the New Jerusalem that is spiritual.

Which there will be peace on earth, and people will not fight with people, and animals and people will not fear each other, and animals will be plant eaters, and a little child can lead the most ferocious animal on earth today, and that animal will have no desire to hurt the child.

That 1000 year millennium the reign of Jesus and His saints on earth is witnessed as on going . Christ reigned with Abel the first apostle martyr. By a work of Christ's faith in him. He continues to reign in the hearts of his saints .
It was the cause of the fall and everlasting chains. The father of lies as the god of this whole world could no longer deceive all the nations in that way . Jewish flesh as if God was a man .
The promise of Joel had come. Prophets priest apostles from all nations men and women (mankind). a time like never before or ever again. The beginning of the thousand years.
When the vail in the abomination of desolation (God does not dwell in temples made with corrupted hands of mankind. that curtain (70 feet) was rent from the top to the bottom . There was no man sitting there .Satan fell off his high horse of false pride. .
The beginning of the use of the "thousands year" metaphor used in that "parable" (Revelation 20) It represents the beginning last days for those who are not of the number and literalize the signified understanding .
Not as those who do have the faith of Christ working with them in them, making our burden lighter.. No signs to wonder in when moved to do the will . Philippians 2:12-13 We should beleive God as he works in us without murmuring. Its like wondering and marveling it does not replace prophecy as it is written. why murmur or wonder rather than believing. Enjoy the rest. Lay down for 5 minutes in the green pastures, the safe place
Jesus said marvel not. How could we not wonder at the greatest of miracles "born again" ? Experiencing our first love for God. Unless he works with us in us . Walking by wonderments is not walking by faith. They oppose each other .
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:3
The thousand years follows the pattern of a unknow. . . no reason to reveal to those who do walk by faith (the unseen eternal)
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Ecclesiastes 6:6 Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Not is one day. or a thousand years is yesterday . it would seem the illusions some who literalize the signified attach to it.
The word "thousand" is used that way in regard to whatever is in view, time, people, food he reveals the spiritual understand to those who do walk by faith. As always he must increase his faithful work as we decrease we find rest. .

The thousand years follows the pattern of a unknow. . . no reason to reveal to those who do walk by faith (the unseen eternal)
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Ecclesiastes 6:6 Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Not is one day. or a thousand years is yesterday . it would seem the illusions some who literalize the signified attach to it.
The word "thousand" is used that way in regard to whatever is in view, time, people, food he reveals the spiritual understand to those who do walk by faith. As always he must increase his faithful work as we decrease we find rest. .

Revelation 20-1-6 does state "One Thousand Years" but there isn't one human on this earth seen in those verses, and you and many others claim this represents a future Kingdom on earth, with mortal humans present?

For the record, I will reiterate that I believe that the 1000 year reign of Jesus will be a physical kingdom on earth and the born again believers who previously died will rule with Him over the remaining human population that is still alive at that time and who will also repopulate the earth until the 1000 years has lapsed.
At that point Satan, who was held bond for this period of time, will be released so he can deceive the nations once again until he is ultimately defeated, along with his followers, and then thrown into the lake of fire.

That's not where I think, that's what the Scripture says.
