Why would you want to try? He would make you to seem the fool.

Pr 17:12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.

God will harden the heart that is bound for destruction.

The God he hates is the same God Who sent His Son to die on Calvary that he might have forgiveness of his sin and inherit eternal life.

You can take the points one by one, ask the basis of each one, and then refute each one.

It's not rocket science.

But Dawkins doesn't say things like this in order to have a reasonable discussion; he blurts out these lists to just ridicule, and overwhelm you with too much to answer easily. Remember, Dawkins is the man who told atheists to ridicule Christians. He actually told them to just be mean, and nasty, and ridicule Christians... not have polite discussions and look for facts.

Because Dawkins is interested in emotional ridicule, not facts, I don't take him too seriously unless an atheist brings me a particular question from one of his books.

His terminology encapsulate what he understands about the old testament.
Can atheists really understand the old testament?

Richard Dawkins is far more refined in his opining about God and Christianity than his former contemporary Christopher Hitchens was. And Mr.Hitchens brother was a Theist. Those must have been very interesting family dinners.

Richard Dawkins near a decade ago made two admissions in separate interviews. He referred to himself as a cultural Christian. And he conceded that intelligent design and a designer were possible.

1. By "cultural Christian" he only means that he enjoys the splendor and ceremony of "high church" services... he thinks it's kind of artistic. Ya know, artistic... kind of like Balinese dancers worshiping pagan Gods.

That's all it means.


2. By "intelligent design" he means it's possible we were "seeded" here by aliens... not God. No God allowed in his view. Aliens are entirely possible, but absolutely no God of any kind is allowed.



Please don't think for a second he has ANY sympathy for Christ or Christians.
Dawkins has said such horrible things about Christians that's he's even starting to become an outcast in the atheist community.

I would describe Mr Dawkins religiosity as "no faith". Can't seek God not seen after the imaginations of one own heart .
