The Lord wants jezebel too. He died for all men and women. Not just the one you think deserve it. AMEN!!!! church should be a hospital for sinners, not a showcase for saints. He WANTS the lost and broken, un-loved, and the ones the world throws away.
dont you understand what santification is by the SPIRIT?

I have no concern with facts, figures or statistics.. but I do have an overwhelming desire to share the gospel, show the love of Jesus and help expand the Kingdom of God. re the parable of the banquet.. theres still room in Gods house. If you concern yourself only with perfecting the people who are already saved, and fail to recognise the lost and brokenhearted, youre missing the whole point of the new testament. Be blessed

(and yes, in answer, I have infact lost my mind, i sent it back to satan when i got saved and my God renews it every day)
LOOOOOOL YOUR SOOO CUTE.GO READ ABOUT JOHN WESLEYS MESSAGE IN HIS DAY. HIS MESSAGE WAS SANTIFICATION

Also i would think it would make people uncomfortable coming into a church with people wearing no make up and having like super long hair and such.
Wouldnt they kinda feel out of place?
I mean even one of the guys in the bible changed as the culture changed but always stayed in love with god.

I mean really think about it. Would you come from a life of the world today right into a world poeple with no make up, no short hair ect.?
JESUSSAID THE GOSPELIS FOR THOSE WHO WOULD RECEIVE IT, NOT COMPREMISE WITH IT. ITS EITHER SERVEHIM WHOLE HEARTED OR NOT AT ALL.
WHAT YOU SAYING JESUS FREAK/ WHERE YOU STANDING?

Funny, I don't remember saying anything about God being different or changing, only the target audience. Get off your high-horse and get a grip, rather than throwing judgment at Christ-followers.

3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands(1 Timothy 3:3-5).

There is no need for debate but what does the word of God say,do not adorn the outer appearance.

It is obvious,is wearing make-up adorning the outer appearance,or is it not adorning the outer appearance, and if it is not adorning the outer appearance then explain how it is not adorning the outer appearance, and make-up has nothing to do with good hygiene and being clean.

All you have to do is prove that wearing make-up is not adorning the outer appearance and it is settled. What if someone wants to make their arm look pretty, would a tattoo be right, for make-up would be the same.

My understanding of the Bible is that the only component to salvation is Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."
-John 4:6

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
-Ephesians 2:8-9

I am a devoted Christ-follower, and have been saved since I was 14. I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the son of God who came to Earth and was sacrificed, being the perfect atonement for my sins and paid the price so that I wouldn't have to, and that He rose again on the third day. I've studied at a Bible college, and have committed my life to serving God and ministering to young people that desperately need hope and need to hear His gospel. At work I share Christ's love by working hands on with adults that have severe developmental disabilities that very few people would ever allow themselves to be bothered with, and don't experience much positive interaction. I also wear make up and have multiple tattoos.

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly." -Galatians 2:20-21
LET ME KNOW PLEASE WHEN YOUR BORN AGAIN. LOVE TO HEAR YOUR TESTIMONY.

reminds me of when the Pharisees and scribes complained because Jesus disciples did not wash their hands and Jesus told them that it was more important to wash the INSIDE of the person and not be stonewashed Tombs.

You tell us that cutting hair is bad but the last time I had my hair cut I donated it for Locks of Love which makes wigs for cancer patients so that they might feel loved and human and have covering for their heads. You would condemn that practice done out of love for the Glory of God?

IT would be better in your book to follow LAWS and not to walk in LOVE and the WORD of GOD?

Jesus tells us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, weep with the sorrowful, etc. the outside does not matter only our hearts which GOD SEES.

Perhaps you should preach the GOSPEL, that Jesus came to save the lost and died for us and wants us to walk in His way to be the children of the most High God.
TALK TO YOUR PASTOR ABOUT IT. PLEASE. THEN LET I KNOW WHAT HE SAID. GOD BLESS YOU

One cannot help but be saddened that for many, Jesus's sacrifice on the cross is not enough.
One also must question, why some would think that God Our Father would not be able to set upon the hearts of all His children,
through His Holy spirit that which is His truth and will in Jesus Christ Our Lord.
What is important, is what Jesus asked us to do for those that are hungry, sick, alone, in prison, thirsty, have no clothing, or place to rest their head.
One has to wonder what the man beaten and left on the side of the road considered more important, than the kind and gentle care of the good samaratan.
One also wonders about the woman who washed Jesus's feet with her tears, then poured perfume apon Him.
Did not Jesus admonish those that stated what a waste it was to do so?
No one, not one of us can claim we do anything good, is without sin, is rightous!
The only one that can bring this in us, is Jesus Christ Our savior and Lord!
This is not because of anything we do, but is God Our Father's gift in Jesus through faith!
So that no man may take pride in them self.
Jesus said, I did not come to judge the world, but to save it!
Jesus also said it is mercy I desire.
May the faith, hope and love we are all called to, fill our hearts in Jesus Christ is Lord!

God bless.
THE lord bless you pickles.

What does this have to do with God wanting to save people, even Jezebel. A person who is not born again can not be sanctified.

Don't YOU understand we are no longer under law but under grace, that ALL things are lawfull, but not all profitable. That if a lady goes out looking like a tramp, she will suffer, And God will say, "I tried to warn ya", but if a lady goes out looking decent with nice clothes, a little makeup, and has a heart of Gold, is doing what God wants her to do God ain't gonna say anything but well done my good and faithful servant!

Yeah he does. But that person will still sin. And this is not even sin unless it is done the wrong way. So why are you tryin to put people back under law?

There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ (born again) who walk not after the flesh but the spirit(Romans 8:1). We are no longer in bondage of dos and donts but in a time of faith in Christ and not any kind of yoke which our fore fathers fail to carry.the Holy Spirit is responsible of guiding us into all truth (truth about what to wear, talk,do,think, makeup or no make up) He is unique to each individual.Beware of religious ism -its the religious pple that handed Jesus to be killed they honor man made laws than the laws of God.Unless yr righteousness surpasses that of the religious guy yu shall not enter the kingdom of God.The guy are more concerned with outward look more than the inner man -God forbids!!! I love you all

The pharisees did not wear make-up and adorn themselves with short hair and uppity clothes. They concentrated on their good deeds, and strict adherence to the law.

They did not think they needed a savior. they thought they were righteousness enough already. WHich is why they rejected God.
