I ran to topic with my friend that started to disturb me for some reason. It's about sinning at free will.

Well in short, we know that everyone can and will fail not to live as exptected and should in this life. We know that God love us and want to forgive us. That's why he sent his son to us, Jesus died that we could get free..

BUT the question raised: is there diffrence when the act is made by purpose? What if you know it's wrong, you know you shouldn't do it but you still do it. Planned, 100% free will, because you wanted to do it? And not just once perhaps but that will comes again and again and you always do it. (and you dont' know how to stop it even if you lil bit want it in your heart)

I wasn't able to ansver that and more I thougt it the more it disturbed me.

ps. if there is another thread(s) for this matter post link.

Good and fair question. The difference between sinning on purpose and sinning because we cannot help it is.................

We fool ourselves but we do not fool God.

God does not differentiate; sin is sin and we are responsible.

An unsaved person may claim to be out of control but according to 1 Cor 10:13 a Christian cannot make that claim.

I suspect usually when people sin, it’s because they are giving in to a powerful temptation. I don’t think it is their wish to offend the Lord.
