Well I'm finally starting to the point where I actually wanna know more about God and Jesus than just what they actually do for me. I actually want to get into more of the relationship part of it. I know that talking to God can help out a lot with it. But I never really know what to talk about with him.

Any relationship involves spending time with someone getting to know them.

You can also get to know about someone by spending time with others who know them.

Remember it is more important to listen than to speak.

Peace be to you
God is all around us,before you could not see him because darkness cannot comprehend the light,You should start to produce fruit to get close to God.
We are commanded to love one another.here is a verse to help you understand. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Ask for faith, help and understanding in prayer
give thankx for the good things you already have.

Love God,Love your neighber like you love yourself, honor you mother and father, stay away from idols

Love a friend in God

Fruit come from the relationship. They do not create the relationship.

1st off You need to read the Bible that way it isn't a one-sided conversation. 2nd start by telling him about your day the good, bad and ugly even though he knows. He likes for his children to come talk to him willingly. One thing I've been doing has been thanking him for the little things. Since I'm at school, I thank him when I get an A on a test even though I studied; he helped me have the will to concentrate on studying and remember everything. Hope this helps :)

Then I must have good start on the relationship. Since I've been noticing a lot of fruit growth over the last couple months.

I’m always complaining to him about my problems. I probably worry too much.

Don't forget to pray for others before you pray for yourself.

Family, workmates, enemies, terrorists, strangers, non-believers, etc.

You can talk about anything. I like to talk to God about the things that seem to worry me. I also vent my frustration of things to Him. I talk to Him about the Bible when I am reading it, asking Him questions about specific verses. I talk to Him as my friend and lover, someone who I know is listening and cares deeply for me.

One of the most important things that I have learned is the importance of being real with God. We have a tendency to put on a facade to only allow people to see the side of us we want them to see. You can't do that with God, since God can see behind your facade. In some cases this facade may even be an automatic reaction that we are unaware of, which is more common then someone knowing they are doing it and still do it.

This might be because the person is afraid of being punished by God, and doesn't know how to deal with this, or for some other reason. With God everything comes into the light and nothing can be hidden from Him.

I have found this refreshing, being able to be completely transparent with someone, and a transparent relationship has many rewards as far as intimacy goes. When you realize that He isn't dissapointed in you and He is delighted in you, and that the cross really was enough for all of our sin, it brings freedom to receive Love from Him.

When I was on life support for 6 weeks He was with me. I variously talked to Him or complained to Him. After 1 week, I told him I had had enough and I wanted outa there. He thought I could handle more. The whole experience had a profound effect on me and on our relationship.

I totally agree with machew and I would only add that you should come to God as what you are (His son) and remember that He is your LOVING father, open your heart to Him, it doesnt matter what your going through or what u have done, He is always there for you, admit your sins and repent daily, ask for wisdom, faith, to walk in His will, to be a tool in His hands, you can ask for anything you want, you need..if its in His will and with faith He will do it!! Prayer is power!! U also need to read the Bible to learn about His will, and who He is..Its talks to us, teaches us..

Talk to him about anything you want to. He cares about everything about you. From the minute you wake until you go to sleep talk to him. Of course we can't run around talking out loud all the time cause people will think we're crazy. But we can think in our mind right. Meditate. God knows your thoughts. The word says to think in your mind is the same as doing something. When you can speak out loud do so. Tell him good morning and good night. When I first started learning God more I pretended he was standing right in front of my face. After all he lives right inside of us. I have more of picture type mind. There is nothing in your life that he doesn't care about. How can you listen to him if you haven't asked him questions? We are here to learn all we can about him. To the day we die we can keep learning more and more about him and never know all there is to know. Think of him as he love you so much more than any human could. He wants to be your friend. Share your life with him that will make him so happy.

I just talk to God about whatever is going on. I feel like it's counseling sometimes only.. I'm not really getting audio feedback haha. I just tell God everything that is going on and I feel so great afterwards. I think it's awesome talking to God. Tell God everything!! I mean everything!.. He already knows if you are mad or if you are having doubts.. He already knows.. But the thing with a relationship is.. You want that intimacy that moment of telling what's on your mind. I really recommend you just tell God everything! lol we got plenty of time and trust me you won't run out of breathe you don't even have to say it out loud. But I can assure you. You will grow so much spiritually by doing this.

I try always start off with the Lords prayer, then I pray for all who I know and the needs of others. Then I try to praise God Our Father for all things good and bad. Then I sign off from official prayer and just talk to Our Father in heaven about my day, my worries, thanking his for all that he has shown me, and then I just talk to him about what is in my heart. I try to listen to all he has to say to me. I do know that Our Father in heaven is very patient , because I do talk to much ,alot. I have also learned he has an amazing sence of humor.
Just love him.
God bless, pickles
