I had been getting really close to god lately and i know hes starting to let me grow up in the spirit now.
Since my family is spiritually strong to this sort of thing , I know I wont have to worry but know that god is letting me become aware of more things now, well actually letting me understand them, I dont feel scared I feel prepared but at the same time I feel like im a baby going into a war about to get its pamper blown off, after these are the stages where you test your faith more than ever and no matter what come against you in the spirit world all we have to know is that what is in us is greater than what we are up against , so what I wanted to know for peopel who have experience in this or are going through something like this right now I want to know how you feel about this were you nervous? or are you nervous? is it okayy to be nervous since its your actual first time going into it alone??like w/o your family, almost as if your learning how to walk.

You’re never alone, of course. The Lord is always with you, and he can defend you from anyone, or anything, that might come against you.

It would be helpful if we know what specifically you are referring to. In general, god does not throw you into the deep end of the pond. He does not lead you into spiritual failure. So, take whatever specific ministry you are going into slow, don't run ahead of God. If you get inot something that you are not ready to handle, ask for help.

Just know that as long as what you are doing is for God, there is no need to be nervous. and if you are nervous, take a deep breath, pray, hang out with some friends, but don't stop what you are being called to. and when there are times where you are given a descision, go for the one that brings you closer to God, because you can never go wrong with that. know that God will always be with you, but you should never do it alone. i'm not saying that you should bring everyone into what you're doing, but ask for some advise now and then.

but if you want someone who is or has gone through what you are about to, i'd love to know some specifics, because depending on exactly what you're doing, i could be in that category.

Please be specific as to what TYPE of spiritual warfare you are referring to. Does it have to do with your family? Your personal walk with the Lord? Are you deeming to do warfar against people you know are involved in the occult?

We cannot advise you if we don't know what your needs are.

I was nervous in the extreme. I could not make myself settle down, and there was always a little doubt. But as I continued to listen to His voice, to respond in obedience and in faith in Him, I gained confidence. In Him. Trust in His Spirit, but realize that this trust is something that grows with time spent in His presence, listening to His voice.

Although God generally does not throw you into the deep end of the pond, :) good words char,
there are times that He may choose to. I know He did with me.
It was a difficult expearience to go through, but I knew from the moment I landed in the water, thatJesus was with me.
This is the love of God Our Father in Jesus, he will always provide and hold you close in His great love.
I was overwhelmed for the few days after , because the knowladge of evil was so great. But gently, in Jesus , God Our Father lifted the knowladge from me, carrying it ever since.
This was over 30 yrs ago, and never has God Our Father failed to lift me up and carry every understanding.
I now see why He showed me what He did, and am greatful for His help in this.
Always know that no matter the knowladge, Jesus is with you, in you, beside you, under you, above you, behind you, in front of you, guiding every step no matter which way your head may be turned.
Surrounded with His love ,understanding, and protection.
All the glory is His.
In Jesus,God bless, pickles

This is really good advice here. I would also like to add that spiritual warfare is personal warfare in the sense that the enemy tries to make us feel unworthy, that God doesn't love us (when He loves us deeply and greatly), doesn't forgive us (when he completely forgives us), and tries to get our words and behavior to be unsafe to ourself and others by trying to tempt us to sin in our words and behavior.

You don't have to buy any of the devil's lies!

also, spiritual warfare is standing in the gap when we ourselves stand confident and assured that we walk in all authority over principalities and powers of evil. Gods eyes search to and fro to find who will stand in the gap for others that He may manifest Himself thru, without faith it is impossible to please God.

Jesus hasn't changed the last two thousand years, He has been sitting down next to the Father doing the same thing, thru believers

I think that becoming an intercessor for your family is a neccesary part of becoming an adult.

The devil is a liar. Stand firm. Never give up. You God is the rock you stand on. He will never leave you. I would say that even when you don't feel God know he is there. That is very important.
