23 .... continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven....
Be bold, be brave, be Spirit filled and hold the line. The Gospel cannot be watered down, diluted or distilled by separating or extracting the essential elements that come from the core doctrines of Christianity.
There is only one Gospel that has been proclaimed in all of creation. Nature proclaimed the glory of God way before we had a book in our hand. It is the hope and faith we have in the promises of God that give us the assurance knowing God cannot lie and throughout history His promises have come true.
This is the encouragement that deafeated the fear/sting of death, the anxieties of the world, and joy in all situations no matter how depressing they may seem.
May the Spirit of the Lord within us amp up the full acknowledgment of His glory and that it may stir up the emotions within to crave justice, righteousness and holiness. The hunger to become not greater but like the teacher our Lord and Savior the Messiah, Immanuel or God is with us, the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Amen!
