Then you are trying to play God by doing it and God does not like that. On top of that if you do you are sinning by murdering yourself and if you think about it you would not be able to ask God for forgiveness once it is done unto you. I think it is a great sin and never forgiven but that is my opinion on that....

What is so sacred about it? Life really means nothing...they have found another planet that is VERY capible of holding life. They don't know if it does or not, but theres a very good chance. That kinda shows that its not as sacred as we first thought.

God lets us make our own decisions, and be the deciders of our own fate. Why can't it be what we want it to be?

ooo we can friend if people want to not live.....why enjoy it while you can, plus it is a gift from God so why should we waste it. Think about this friend.....There are animals, planets, plants, anything that lives and Angels as well, are you not glad that we are God's favorite creation for He made you to make a decsion on earth to follow and glorify Him and go to heaven. You were not picked to be fields of grass but a man, not just a man but you could be the Child of God who will sit next to the throne of Jesus!!! We are considered mini YHWHs (God) but not exactly like him, what i mean man is closer to being like God than anything that was created.....but we have sin in our lives

But God created us with original sin. Think about it this way....God knows all that has happened and that will happen. Therefore, he knows what choice a man will make before he makes it. So out live are predetrmined...no matter the choices we make, it was always going to end up that way. If thats true, then God isn't really giving man a choice, is he? And if he CAN'T tell what will happen to us in the future, then he is not classed as a God.

God made us sinless but man chose sin later on friend and Jesus is trying to save us from it.
God does not send us to hell, but ourselves. What we do in our life is what is the end result. If you truly excepted Jesus and with truth and honesty and try to follow Him, (now everybody has mistakes, not one Christian has not have a mistake in their life as a follower). God actually cries for us to go with Him to heaven and live like kings, but when we deny Him and his word then we are dooming ourselves. God is right there besides you friend waiting for it to be your turn to make the difference for the future.

That didn't really counter what I had to say....and besides! Lets say there was a great man. He was loving, kind, caring, and just genrally a good person....but he did not believe in God (or believed in another God). He led a good life, and made many people happy. Would this man still go to hell?

Why is suicide bad?

It is not enduring to the end (Matthew 24:13).

It is not abiding in Christ (John 15:1-6).

It is not continuing in His goodness (Romans 11:22).

It is not holding fast the word (1 Corinthians 15:2).

It is definitely being moved away from the hope of the gospel (Colossians 1:23).

It is not holding fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end (Hebrews 3:6).

It is not holding the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end (Hebrews 3:14).

It is refusing and turning away from Him who speaks from heaven (Hebrews 12:25).

And, it is not overcoming the world (1 John 5:4), but rather being overcome by the world and the devil (1 Peter 5:8; 1 John 5:18).

now friend i cannot say that for that is judging and God only judges that. But with the man friend even even even if he does right and still not aligned with Jesus then he himself is going to be doomed. We do good because it shows that we are imitating His Image. Like Genesis the beginning of the bible God made man to "imitate His Image" which mean to ack like Him. Now this man is not really giving God the glory but when we do good without even knowing we are glorifying God. You truly do not understand what happy is in tell you meet Jesus friend, For i thought i had it good but when i found out about Christ i knew everything i use to do was wrong and Jesus clears the broken tracks friend. (just quoting summary ) Like Jesus said, there will be people on those days that will say "Lord Lord did we not cast out demons in your name" and Jesus says "get away from me you evil doers" or "I do not know you". So that means that we should have this relationship or else it means nothing.

A planet capable of supporting life has been discovered, therefore life really means nothing? That's a non-sequiter: it doesn't follow. Scientists have speculated for centuries about the possibility of life on other planets. The fact that we are now beginning to discover extrasolar planets doesn't change anything, as we have known for a long time that they are probably out there.

They don't know if it does or not, but theres a very good chance. That kinda shows that its not as sacred as we first thought.
No it doesn't. The existence of life elsewhere in the universe would not make life any more or less sacred per se. I could imagine both sides being argued, or neither.

God lets us make our own decisions, and be the deciders of our own fate. Why can't it be what we want it to be?
God's in charge, not us.

So in other words...it doesn't matter as long as you believe in God?

So (to Trust_In_The_Name) we aren't in charge of our own fates, like God claims?

If God existed in the same timeframe we do, that would be a valid argument. He doesn't. God is eternal and spiritual. He exists independent of space and time. Therefore, it's inaccurate to say that He knows what we will do "before" we do it. Speaking of "before" in this sense with regard to God is simply meaningless, because God doesn't know "before;" He just knows, period. And because His knowledge transcends time, it does not preordain our lives or choices.

also friend it is kinda weird, God gives us a chance and we do have free will but He knows what will happen. If you choose good then it was planned already, so that means we are saved by our decisions. Now God made us because He wanted a family, not people who just live for the goods of life, God wanted love that endures even pain to the heart everyday, love that is not programmed like angels but a love chosen by us. Now the devil and his angel picked wrong even they are jealous of us. Read Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.so that means He wants us to do good. Also friend tell me your definition on God. If He created everything we can even grasp in our little minds then He must be a greater power. Even friend the things that we cannot see with our eyes He made.....so yeah

Why believe this? To love God with all of your heart, mind and soul is demonstrated in how one loves his neighbor. If one does this but does not "know" Jesus as you say he needs to, why believe him to be doomed?

The answer depends on who you ask, but the straightforward biblical answer is that although the man lived what appears to us to be a good life, the reality is that he was a sinner like all the rest of us, and the wages of sin is death. Scripture says that there is none who does good, that all have gone astray.

That's not what original sin is, but yes, God did make man with the full knowledge of his sin. Then again, He also had a plan for man's salvation. That's the point of the gospel, the good news.
