thanks for the thread, deadtosin, don't know how long you been around but most folks in here feel that any word of God is outdated for todays times . i guess if they can discredit the Word of God then it will be easy to change Him into that corruptable God that roman 1 speaks of, any how they sure give it their best shot at times

Now, i don't know about all of these scriptures, but the conclusion to Mark 16 is either left out of some translations or there is a footnote saying that it is not part of all manuscripts. There is consensus among bible scholars that those verses were added onto the end of Mark at some point after the original gospel was written, because where it left off didn't make for a very good ending. It could be that the original ending was lost; we just don't know. The same is true of the story of the woman caught in adultery in John 8: bible scholars agree that that was a later addition to the text, and not part of John's original gospel.
Remember, just because something is old (like the KJV) doesn't mean it's accurate. As we get new information and new scholarship is done, we can correct the mistakes of the past. It's this way in every field, not just biblical scholarship.

We are not meant to understand or be able to explain everything. If people focus on the
99.9% of the Bible that is right, they'll all go to heaven. A few verses that have nothing
to do with being saved or following Christ is not enough reason to throw your spirit away.
If most people followed the 99.9%, then they would be too focused on Christ and His
leadership to worry about a possible misquote that can't be proved either way.
Just follow Christ and you can ask him about it when you get to heaven.

my bible has had Lucifer removed in Isaiah 12-17... they replaced it with morning star.. unfortunately I am under the absolute opinion that Satan himself is attempting to bridge the semantic gaps between east and west.. new and old.. for one common language and one common religion.. for all of us to worship the dragon.. you have all read that Satan will deceive the world.. that he wants to be "like" the most high.. for over 1500 years people were protecting the smallest punctuation.. and now everyone is an expert.. re analyzing and re decyphering.. I think its amazingly alarming..

the bible's texts are becoming more spread out and less personalized.. where once it said.. Where it said Jehovah it says lord.. where it said holy one of israel it says One.. where it said Lord Jesus Christ it says Lord.. The luciferian leaders are now teaching their followers to change their semantics.. to call Lucifer, buddah etc.. Christ.. Lord.. Savior.. if we pray like these new versions say to pray.. like the Lords prayer.. Father, Hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone who is endebted to us. and lead us not into temptation.... we could pray that same prayer beside a Satanic worshiper who says the same words to a different spirit... I think its all just a way to soften the blow for a new Age order

where is OUR father who art in Heaven? where is deliver us from EVIL?.. and in Isaiah.. I'm sorry but the morning star is Jesus... I believe that was changed so that in the end they will state that our faith is mislead.. that we believe in Jesus.. who God clearly states fell from heaven in Isaiah..How you have fallen from heaven O' morning star, son of dawn!... in the end they will say that it was Jesus and he mislead us.. they will claim that Satan and Lucifer are not the same.. that Lucifer is the chosen one.. our Savior who led us into knowledge and the evolution.. etc.. etc.. and if this sounds so far fetched.. its been in the bible from the beginning.. that the multitudes would worship the beast.. and be mislead that he was the messiah...

why does it seem to you so unlikely.. that those scholars.. all these new findings and questionings of ancient texts could be manipulated by the Prince of Darkness?.. the true ancient texts(that by the way, have yielded codes written in the manuscripts only discyphered by computer).. that we have found that date back to 70 AD.. almost letter for letter.. people died to protect what they knew to be true... regarding a holy war of Good and evil... and when we KNOW that the opposing side is the KING of liars.. second only to God.. that even the Arch angel michael won't say a word against him because of his strength.. just how do you think he is going to decieve the entire world? these changes have been occuring slowly for multiple generations.. and reasoning knowledge is his weapon.. it is only fitting.. after all it is what he started in the first place...

The word translated "morning star" in these verses is the same word used in Isaiah 14. Isaiah is written in Hebrew and these are in Greek, obviously, but the same Greek word used in the Septuagint for Isaiah 14 is the one used here. It seems that the confusion lies not in improper translations, but in the original documents themselves.
