I did read it, I am not saying you are wrong, what I am saying is from the context of What God said over what God talked about.
an example if I may please?

Idol worship= idolatry = is making something a god that is not GOD. God has said in the text There are no other gods.

Yet God has acknowledged man has made gods and worshiped them as such which HE said man must not do. All created beings like angels, demons, etc, are lower-level spiritual beings. They are not as the Only God who is Sel-existent. It is a man who worshiped them as gods because you will find no other being in the word of God worshiping them but man.

When God says You shall not have any other gods before me the Hebrew tranlation is Do not make for yourself false gods over ME who is The ONly God.
Please read my post #55.

Deuteronomy 5
7 “You must not have any other god but me."

God disagrees with you

No he doesn't. He is speaking of false gods, not real Gods.

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isa 44:7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
Isa 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

We are all humans who are descended from Noah, we are all born with a conscious that includes an innate knowledge that there is a God who created us. Noah knew of the one true God, but in their busyness, the knowledge was lost for some of his descendants. They created their own God, and some of it was a copy of the one true God.

The most powerful God that has been created by man was created by Muhammad more than 500 years after Christ. It ties this God with the one true God through Ismael, the twin brother of Jacob who sold his birthright to Jacob.
Just wanted to point out that it was Esau, not Ishmael, who was Jacob's brother.

Friendly Fire ! Sorry ! Yes, im new, and the attacks are fast and furious so hit you in my responding; we agree these heavenly beings seeking the worship of men are these other gods ; there is one omnipotent El, and that is YWVH, God, the Big Kahuna

so islam, and hindis, and all the other religions, mormons, scientologists, are all worshippng one of these gods , but not The God of ALL Creation

some people get so offended over this truth and cant admit it....sheesh , christians !
If you haven't read Michael Heiser's The Unseen Realm, I highly recommend it. :)
