Here are a few links that can help us all identify an apostle....a Biblical apostle...as opposed to any 'wanna be's':
I'm posting this because there are far too many that call themselves "apostle" and they have not/do not fulfill the Biblical mandates of 'apostle'. It is a title that is EARNED, not clamored after and then claimed. It is a HUGE responsibility both to God and man. Most, if not all, that are true apostles NEVER wanted the position, likewise with prophets. An apostle is named so by his/her peers without any seeking of the title. A true apostle GOES to where he/she is SENT and does not remain in one place for long.

Hello,

Jesus, the HEAD of the Church chose his Apostles. Their names are still in the BOOK.
They are our eternal Teachers until Jesus, who is in us, physically comes.
Any follower must echo the enduring Word of GOD that they peached.

That includes baptism calling on Jesus, that they preached.

When it is done then the shocking, invisible side is known.

Then we labour to convince our people but we have been strengthened to do it.

Keep well.

Something to consider is that they were called 'disciples'. This meant they were willing to be corrected and disciplined. Shouldn't we, as we follow Christ, do the same? Yet, in today's world, many aren't willing to be taught, challenged, disciplined or corrected. Yet, I take the words of my former pastor to heart: When I show up somewhere, I expect one Christian to be there...me. :)

Thanks for the thread. Very nice.

Hello,

Hope that you' re ok.

The Israelites had John the baptist to prepare their heart for the LORD.

That is a required state to accept the LORD Jesus.

We have no one but our selves.

Therefore we look after ourselves.

We follow the Apostles and we are ok.

A Theologian is a Philosopher and not a Spirtual man, Spirit taught and Spirit led like the Apostles.

Happy digging.

One thing that we can easily do is not lie to ourselves.

When we connect with Christ we are strengthened for the job.

Keep smiling.

I think that you do.
