Yeah.....my view....Peter and Paul tie all three days together as one day...I.E. The day of the Lord, Christ and God....Jesus is all three and that day commences at the 7th trump where you find all three aspects...

a. Day of the Lord commences as Jesus as LORD siezes control of all earthly kingdoms as LORD over them

b. Day of Christ commences as Jesus as Christ REWARDS in the air the saints, prophets and those that fear God both young and old (resurrection/change)

c. Day of God commences as Jesus pours out his wrath as God on the world gathered under the banner of the beast

All at the sounding of the 7th and final trump

Are you seriously claiming that the first six trumpets do not announce the wrath of God, which is then showed in the TERRIBLE SUPERNATURAL events which follow?

REVELATION 8 & 9
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: aHA third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them...
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Both the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation (7th trumpet/7 vials) are expressions of God's wrath.
Tribulation is not the same as SOUL HARVEST when I said wrath I meant SOUL HARVEST WHEN THE SICKLES COME DOWN.....YOU DONT HAVE TO PRINT THE WHOLE BIBLE TO MAKE YOUR POINT....
I HAVE TWO DOZEN AND ESWORD I KNOW WHAT IT SAYS....😀JESUS

Why is it so hard to acknowldge that the WRATH OF GOD is announced as BEING HERE AND HAVING ARRIVED at the sounding of the 7th trump....so...whose word do we take...

a. The cowards hiding in dens, caves and praying for the rocks to fall on them at the 6th seal claiming the wrath of God is here

or

b. The announcment made in heaven before the throne of God at the 7th trump that the WRATH OF GOD is here and about to be poured out.

I will go with b over a any and every day of the week
Well d theres a lot going on in Rev there to nail it down perfect timing wise with all the different wrath.....when I said wrath in that previous he reacted to I should have said SOUL SICKLE HARVEST PROBABLY and used final day of wrath if I was going to put trump 7 on it....I see his point but he didnt have to pour all that wrath on me to make me acknoweledge LOL😀

That's a good analogy theres so much going on in Revelation its hard for me to keep it straight when all the viles are poured out and horsemen released....
I know false christ on 6 and dont take mark are my main concerns.....lol😀

The Bible says that 70 weeks are determined upon Israel to make an end of sins, and anoint the most holy, who is Jesus, which means Israel as a nation has 70 weeks, 490 years, to be in the truth concerning God, and the accepting of Jesus as Messiah.

Which is why the years date before Jesus because Israel was not in the truth concerning God, because if they were the Roman Empire would of not had control of her, and Jerusalem, for when they abide in the truth, no enemy, and I mean no enemy can prosper against her according to the promise of God.

69 weeks have passed, and the last week could of not passed because Israel as a nation is not in the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

So there is one week to go the 70th week, and it cannot be denied for Israel as a nation is not in the truth.

The last week is the time that God causes all people who do not love Him to follow the New Age Christ, man of sin, and when they do then He can end this sin business on earth, and brings Israel to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

Which the Bible says that Israel is blinded in part, for they acknowledge the Old Testament, but the majority do not accept Jesus, until the fulness of the Gentiles come in, when salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, and so all Israel shall be saved.

Israel as a nation does not acknowledge Jesus as Messiah from the time Jesus was on earth until now, so the 70th week could of not have passed.

There is one more week to go.

Which God said that He will gather the whole house of Jacob, all 12 tribes, back to Israel, and will leave none of them in the nations anymore, and the Jews will be on their land, and know the LORD their God from that time forward, and He will never hide His face from them again.

Which means this could of not been a past prophesy, for if it was then Israel as a nation would be in the truth today, but they are not, and they are not all back on their land yet, and once they are planted they will never be scattered from there again.

The New Age Christ, man of sin, will establish peace in the Middle East in the future, and it will pave the way for all the Jews to go back to Israel, which the Gentile nations will see to that, and the man of sin wants that so they will all be on their land, for he wants to claim to be their God and Messiah in the future, but God means it for good to establish the kingdom on earth back to the Jews, Israel.

The Jews will rebuild their temple, and go back to animal sacrifices for they are still blinded in part, with no hassle from the Palestinians, and the Jews will split Jerusalem with the Palestinians.

The Gentile nations will come together and say Peace and safety as they try to establish peace on earth, and the 7 years period will start.

For the first three and one half years the new age movement will be a unified religious system with all religions interpreted by them, including the Bible, which is the time they will not endure sound doctrine, but want to hear the Bible according to their own lusts, and turn their ears from the truth, and be turned unto fables.

The ten horn kingdom will rule, the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section.

For the first three and one half years repentance, and salvation, are still available to the world, so the saints will remain on earth to represent the truth, and as long as repentance, and salvation, are available to the world the resurrection will not happen.

The 6 trumpets are 6 disasters, warnings to the world, for them to repent of their sins, and leave off from their agenda of evolution as religion, and turn to God, for they believe that they can still evolve to be spiritual, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior, but a good teacher in the evolutionary process, and love, and honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power.

After the 6th trumpet the ten horns, and the world does not repent of their sins, and turn to God, but keep trying to establish peace on earth, and going by their agenda of evolution as their prosperity, and salvation, and that it is all about people.

So God gives them the New Age Christ, man if sin to rule over them.

Which an example is WW1, set up League of Nations, did not turn to God, WW2, set up United Nations, did not turn to God, and that pattern will continue until WW3, Islam against the world, which the Bible describes nuclear weapons, in which 3 sections of the world will be plucked up by the roots, which is concentrated in the Arab nations.

That war will be so terrible that it caused one third of the world to perish, and the ten horn kingdom failed at obtaining peace on earth, and the world turns to the New Age Christ as the solution to have peace on earth, and salvation, which the ten horn kingdom was the head that was wounded, the 7th head, the 7th king, for the world lost hope for there to be peace on earth, but the man of sin restored their hope for there to be peace on earth, and the deadly would was healed, which the man of sin is the 8th king.

The man of sin will claim to be God by harnessing the power of nature, and obtained power, evolved, and the false prophet will do miracles in the sight of people to convince the people that the beast did receive power through nature, and will share this power with all people who follow him.

The man of sin will step in to the Jews temple, and tell them to stop animal sacrifices, and that he is their God and Messiah.

When the world follows the New Age Christ, and takes the mark of the beast, which has to do with technology to cut down on crime, a GPS for humans by satellite, which Trump is getting the ball rolling on that, then repentance, and salvation, are no longer available to the Gentiles, and the fulness of the Gentiles have come in, or it could be when the resurrection happens later on.

Then for the last three and one half years God will turn Israel to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah, and at the end of that time Israel as a nation will be in the truth.

For the last three and one half years the beast makes war against the saints, and prevails against them, and they are given in to his hands for three and one half years, and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people all things are finished, which then comes the end when the Son shall have delivered up the kingdom to the Father.

Jesus said when the resurrection happens that the hypocrites will not be caught up, and when He shuts the door no Gentile can enter after that.

If the resurrection happens before the 7 years period then no Gentile can be saved after that, but there are Gentile saints on earth when the 7 years period starts, and during the 7 years period.

Paul said when they say Peace and safety the saints will not be deceived by that but know it is not of God, so the saints are on earth when the 7 years period starts, and Jesus said He will deliver the saints from the temptation that shall come upon the whole world to try them that dwell on earth, which will they get with God as reality, and salvation, or follow the world, evolution as reality, and salvation, so the saints are on earth when the 7 years period starts.

Also repentance, and salvation, are still available to the world during the first three and one half years, so there can be Gentile that can be saved during that time so the resurrection has not happened yet.

In the middle of the 7 years the beast makes war against the saints, which some people believe it is only the Jews, but the Jews are all back on their land, and the 2 witnesses only started to witness to them to turn the nation to the truth, and Israel is protected from physical attack for the 7 years period.

So the beast mainly makes war against Gentile saints, and the minority of Jews that accept the truth of Jesus, for he makes war against all who hold the testimony of Jesus, and it is the greatest persecution ever against the truth for it is on a world wide scale, but the Jews are all back on their land, and not world wide, and in the other nations.

Also he makes war against the seed of the woman, which is both Jew and Gentile that turned to Christ, for when a Gentile is saved they are a Jew inward, and part of the commonwealth of Israel, so they are the seen of the woman, Israel, spiritually, holding the testimony of Jesus.

At the end of the last three and one half years those saints that remain on earth shall be gathered unto Jesus, which Paul said the saints cannot be gathered unto Christ, and he was addressing the Gentiles, until there is a falling away first, which is the condition of the world in response to the Gospel, which they hindered it during the first three and one half years, which is what sparked the war between Islam and the world for they hindered them too, and they felt they had no choice but to fight for their religion, and at the end of the first three and one half years the transgressors have come to the full.

And the man of sin claims to be God, and then the saints can be gathered unto Christ, but then the beast makes war against the saints, and the Gentiles, and Jews, who hold the testimony of Jesus are persecuted, but the nation of Israel is protected for the 7 years period for God is going to restore the kingdom on earth to Israel.

When the saints are gathered unto Christ, and the 7 years period is over, then the wrath of God will be poured upon the world leading up to the battle of Armageddon, which is the world attacking Jerusalem, Israel, the Jews, and Jesus will come back with all the saints, and defeat the world, and save Israel, and the kingdom restored to Israel, the Jews, for all Israel shall be saved.

1Th1:10 says, "the One delivering us [the Church which is His body] out-from the wrath coming."

The thing is, here it does not state just what "the wrath coming" specifically entails (altogether), just "the wrath coming" (that is, the wrath that will transpire on the earth). So as I see it, there is more than one point in time that involves "wrath," such as (for example):

--Revelation 12:12 (at the mid-point of the trib, when there is 3.5 years yet remaining till His Second Coming to the earth; that is, at the 5th Trumpet/1st WOE "unto the earth" point in time... which is, according to my own study of the "chronology" of the 7-yr period, comes well before the "7th Trumpet/3rd Woe/1st Vial" when the "COMPLETION" of [or rather, "was COMPLETED"] the wrath of God [not its BEGINNING]);

--the SECOND SEAL WARS (even earlier than mid-trib) I believe (for several biblical reasons) includes the Gog-Magog War, in which is used "wrath" words in Ezekiel 38:18-19 "My fury" and "in the fire of My wrath" and then on into chpt 39:7 goes on to say, "so [in this way] will *I* make My holy name known in the midst of MY PEOPLE ISRAEL..." (keeping in mind Romans 9:26/Hosea 1:10 reference to Israel's "future," whereas PRESENTLY they are "not My people [Lo Ammi]" but are experiencing the "blindness... UNTIL" thing, Rom11:25[15]; Hosea 5:15-6:3 "TILL" thing also)--this correlates with the events in "Joseph's 7-yr famine," when (at the point where there was "yet 5 yrs" remaining) "there STOOD NO MAN WITH HIM, when Joseph MADE HIMSELF KNOWN unto his brethren" Gen45:1 (recall, this is while Joseph was "separate from his brothers" [meaning, they lived in separate places]…); and much more...

The point in time of the Vials (toward the end of the 7-yrs) is not the only dish of "wrath coming" ;) I believe all of the accounts written regarding it, that 1Th1:10 covers all of those coming to transpire on the earth (all DURING that 7-yr period, not merely its END section).

The "wrath" is the issue I think. The wrath is because of something that has been done by them already,(worship the beast image, mark ect.) and the wrath,(Wrath of God) comes "after" those who commit the work worthy of that wrath.

So is the tribulation of those days orchestrated by the beast and Gods Wrath is then sent on the beast and his worshipers because of the tribulation they caused?

Who causes the tribulation and who does the tribulation affect? Can the wrath of God come before the beast has come and those who are deceived worship his image?

The beast comes, the image is set up,the crime is committed,,,and then the wrath.

Jesus pours out His wrath upon the wicked at His coming.

The same coming by which His people are resurrected and raptured.

You forgot about the wrath that has been being poured for 3 1/2 years. Even the kings of the earth try to hide themselves crying out who can withstand the wrath of the Lord. And the 7th seal has not even been opened yet it was there response to the 1st 6 seals.. All of which are Gods wrath.

So fire coming from heaven destroying 1/3 of the earth is not part of Gods wrath?

Sorry, I can not buy it.

God used the Assyrians to pour his wrath on the northern kingdom

He used the babylonions to pour his wrath on Judah

He used the armies of King David to pour his wrath on gentiles

God uses men to pour his wrath on other men and has done it from the beginning

The whole of the tribulation and all the seals and bowl judgments are part of gods wrath. Which culminates in his return, when he finishes his work.. and totally destroys all evil.

^ Agree with the point eternally-gratefull is making, and is why I continually am making two particular points (in my posts), especially:

--when the phrases "the Day of the Lord" and "IN THAT DAY" are used in the SAME CONTEXTS, they refer to the same time period; and

--the passage in 2Th2:7b-8a sounds very closely similar to a passage in Lamentations 2:1-7, esp. vv. 3-4 (a section labeled [with a heading, by some] as "God's Anger Over Jerusalem"--just saying it is SIMILARLY-WORDED, not that each of these two passages have to be referring to the same precise moments in time/history, mind you); here are those passages to compare side by side:

Lamentations 2:3-4 -

ג

3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back [withdrawn] his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. [just like saying a protection is withdrawn, let 'er loose! let 'er rip!]

ד

4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

[notice the similarity of the verse 3 bolded, with that of...]

2Th2:7b-8a -

"...there is only the one at present restraining it, until he might be gone out of the midst [UNTIL out of the midst he be come / come to be]. AND THEN shall that Wicked be revealed..."

[this is at the START of the 7-yrs, not in the MIDDLE as many suppose; this is SEAL #1 (rider of the white horse with a bow [often meaning 'DECEPTION']), aka the INITIAL "birth PANG [SINGULAR; 1Th5:2-3; Matt24:4/Mk13:5 "G5100 - tis - 'A CERTAIN ONE'"]" ; "the prince THAT SHALL COME," the "whose COMING" aka "man of sin be revealed"; the Dan9:27[26] one who does the "FOR ONE WEEK [7 yr]" thing, starting at the BEGINNING of the 7-yrs, when Jesus Himself will "STAND to JUDGE" [Isa3:13; Rev5:6; 2Th2:7b-8a (LIKE Lam2:3-4)]

Point 2 (from above), the phrases "the Day of the Lord, " and "IN THAT DAY" are BOTH used in the 2Th1-thru-2 passage, and when we review those words (set in a contrast to one another, per CONTEXT), we can see clearly that it is most certainly a TIME PERIOD (the OT told us that clearly, when spelling it out, but HERE TOO!) where it shows the TWO DISTINCT [and OPPOSITE] "beliefs" people will come to hold WITHIN that future time period, EITHER [coming to believe] 2Th1:10b ("the testimony of us to you" was indeed TRUE) OR [they will INSTEAD believe] 2Th2:10-12 ("the FALSE/the pseudei" the "LIE," the "strong delusion"), and Jesus Himself knows from the beginning who is who.

Recall, I've stated that some people will indeed come to faith within the tribulation period (following our Rapture), whereas others will be hardened in their unbelief... This, I believe, is the gist of that CONTRAST spoken of here.

^ EDIT: I should add (for the sake of the readers who may not know my stance) that I am pre-trib (I believe our Rapture occurs pre-trib, before that 7-yr ^ period begins). I believe when Jesus "STANDS to JUDGE" that "the Church which is His body" will not be present on the earth.

There are 31,102 verses in the bible....and no offence, but Acts, Phillipians, Collosians, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, 1st and 2nd Timothy, Titus, Hebrews, James, 1st and 2nd Corinthians, 1st John, Revelation, 1st and 2nd Peter, Daniel, Zecheriah, Isaiah, Psalms, Jude and numerous other books have numerous verses that deal with the second coming or reference the 2nd coming ...not only is what I said NOT EXCESSIVE.....it is biblical.............wow!
No offense taken, but you're still mistaken.

There are 3,779 verses in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, which are all pretty much exclusively concerned with the first coming. For your claim to be correct (that "there are 8 verses concerned with the second coming for every 1 verse concerned with the first coming"), there would have to be 8 x 3,779 = 30,232 verses concerned with the second coming. You said yourself there are only 31,102 verses in the entire Bible. So again, your estimate seems a bit high.

According to bible gateway the phrase "DAY OF THE LORD"
which is same as the final day of wrath is used 525 times!
525 is a long way from 30,232. In fact, 525 is only about 1/7th as many verses as there are in the Gospels--the verses concerned with the first coming. So it would be more correct to say that for every 1 verse concerned with the second coming, there are 8 verses concerned with the first coming--not the other way around.

Simple math, people...

It wasn't my 🐎 horse race I was just looking to provide relative content .....jumping on the 4 word phrase I searched and comparing it to your contextual total count is not a credible or valid mathematical comparison and so condescending simple mathematics statement isn't applicable to out of context 411 added from my simple curiosity as to a specific phrase use.
If you are going to calculate tallies and scorecards you need to apply proper mathematical equation methodology instead of manipulating one isolated value and misrepresenting it as a sum. total. Since mathematics is so simple for
you it looks like you have obligated yourself to provide a fair and honest assessment instead of purposely trying to manipulate a deception in your favor.

I provided a fair and honest assessment in my original comment--that the estimate of 8 verses concerning the second coming for every 1 verse concerning the first coming is too high.

Any and all evidence provided subsequent to that has substantiated my assessment.

Are you premillennial or amillennial?

I’m sorry, I don’t label myself as such.

I’m simply a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

I adhere to the doctrine of Christ.

If you have a specific question about this discussion topic I will be glad to answer.

If you want to pm me I will discuss whatever is on your mind.

There are 3,779 verses in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, which are all pretty much exclusively concerned with the first coming.

[…]

Simple math, people...
I'm not arguing any math equations either way, mind you, but I'm not sure how you can say the sentence in bold ^ , above.

I can think of at least 12 random things off the top of my head that (in the gospels) speak to His Second Coming to the earth and the circumstances that will surround that:

--ALL "Son of man cometh/coming/shall come [etc]" passages

--"the kingdom of the heavens" (the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom)

--"the wedding FEAST/SUPPER" passages (ditto the above; referred to in a few different passages)

--the "G347 - shall sit down [around a table / at a meal]" of Matt8:11 and its parallel

--the entire Olivet Discourse (except for the section of Lk21:12-24a about the events of 70ad), so Matt24-25/Mk13/Lk21

--the "IN QUICKNESS [NOUN]" references of Lk18:8[chpt-17-end], [also Romans 16:20 and Rev1:1/22:6] (specific limited future time period leading UP TO the earthly MK, which will commence at His Second Coming to the earth)

--"the end [singular] of the age [singular]" in Matthew 13:24,30,39,40,49-50 (also Matt24:3 and His response); as well as "the age [singular] to come" which follows the other, sequentially, but found in Matt12:32 (the MK), located before the Matt13 passage

--the two "RETURN" passages of Luke 12:36-37,38,40,42-44 "when he will RETURN FROM the wedding..." THEN the meal; and Luke 19:12,15,17,19 "RETURN," when He will deal out responsibilities regarding "have thou authority over 10 cities" and "likewise... be thou over 5" (and the parallels to these)

--ALL "there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" passages

--the "ye [the 12] shall sit on 12 thrones, judgING the 12 tribes of Israel" (Lk22:30,16,18 and Matt19:28 [compare with Matt25:31-34 for TIMING: His 2nd Coming to the earth])

--about eight to TEN "BLESSED" passages in the gospels [correlating with Dan12:12's "BLESSED" (specific time slot) and Rev19:9's "BLESSED" both/all pertaining to their entrance into the promised and prophesied earthly Millennial Kingdom, commencing upon His RETURN to the earth at the time of His Second Coming to the earth]

--the Transfiguration (a picture of His Second Coming glory)

… I'm pretty sure there's tons more than just these :D (how's that for "maths" LOL)
